Kataras POV:
Aang Sokka and I are walking through the woods on taking a break from flying. "Katara?" Aang asks, "How much farther are we going to walk until we can make up camp?" "Just a little bit longer and then we can stop."
We continue to walk till we come to a little lake where we start to hear a lot of commotion, we hide behind some thick bushes and watch the scene unfold.
We see four huge guys on rhinos, they look like they are fire nation, we see them attacking a young Watertribe girl who is.....waterbending. "Aang! Do you see thise moves! She's amazing!!!" "I KNOW!" We continue to watch in awe until we see the girl get hit in the side and start to bleed....a lot....too much....."We gotta help her!"
We leap out of the bushes and start to attack! Aang pushes one of the men off his rhino while Sokka is throwing his boomerang and using his whale jaw sword to knock out another one of them while I start to water whip the other two guys off of their rhinos and then Aang hits the rhinos and they run off.
The Fire nation guys glare back at us and run after their rhinos. I look around frantically for the young girl when I finally see her slumping to the ground! I rush over and put her head in my lap, I shake her in an attempt to wake her....nothing works, I place my ear to her chest and hear a faint heartbeat and sigh in relief. "We have to get her out of here she is very injured." Sokka nods and carries her over to Appa.
I pull out my sleeping bag and place it where we are planning to place our campsite. Sokka gently places her on top of the sleeping bag and I look over her to see exactly how injured she is. I see a throwing star lodged in her side, a few cuts and bruises in her face and neck, there is a large gash on her collarbone and on her inside forearm and leg. This poor girl is so beaten. "Katara who do you think she is?" I hear Sokka say, "I don't know, but she must be from the Northern Watertribe." I clean her wounds on her neck and face and then do the best I can to wrap the wounds on her collarbone forearm and leg.
Finally I get the the throwing star in her side. "I don't know what to do about this, it's in really deep, I don't want to hurt her more than she already is but I have to remove it." Sokka rips off a piece of leather from Appas saddle and puts it in the girls mouth, I look at him confused, "it's for the pain, if she wakes up in the middle of it she will bite down in it since we can't really give her anything for the pain." I stare wide eyed at Sokka, I didn't know he knew how to do this kind of thing. I tell Sokka to hold her down and I pull with all my might and manage to get the throwing star out and the girl lets out a scream. Just then an arctic wolf comes up and stands over the girl and tries to bite me and Sokka all the while growling. "WHAT TGE HECK!!" I hear Sokka yell, I place my hand in front of the wolfs face to show that I mean no harm and she relaxes a little. "It must be hers, are you just trying to protect her?" I ask the wolf, and as if in response the wolf whimpers and lays on the girl.
