Sokkas POV:
I has been a week since Anya had Bloodbending General Fong. I hope I never have to see her like that again. I was awful to see her in that state, she looked like she was in so much pain and she didn't look like herself or sound like herself for that matter. She has not said much since that day, we have all tried to get something out of her but she is not talking.
I look over and see her lying against the saddle petting Lily and just looking up at the sky.
Aang is steering Appa, Katara is mending one of Anya's shirts that got ripped by General Fong and I am just staring at Anya trying to figure out what to say to her.
I scoot over towards her and clear my throat, she looks at me and sits up.
Anya: Hey Sokka, what's up?
Sokka: I was hoping that you could tell me.
She gives me a confused look.
Anya: What do you mean?
Sokka: Anya come on, you and I both know that you have not really said much since the day you, well you know.
Anya: Sokka, there is just nothing to talk about that's all, don't make such a thing of it.
I look at her and sigh.
Sokka: Look, Anya, we may not have known you for very long but you usually don't shut up, and you are usually always smiling and cracking jokes and making fun of, well me, and now you are just silent all the time, we aren't stupid, we know you better then that.
Anya looks at me and then it is her turn to sigh.
Anya: Look Sokka, it's just that a lot has happened in the last few weeks, I was very injured, I lost my sister, and then I blood ended, like really blood ended for the first time in, well a really long time. That's a lot for me ok, you guys are just gunna have to give me a little more time that's all, ok?
I look at her and sigh in relief.
Anya: What?
Sokka: Im just glad that you talked to me and opened up to me, I hope you know that you can do that anytime and anywhere.
I smile at her and she smiles back at me, then she leans her head on my shoulder and I lean my head on top of her head and we just stare out over the sky.
I could get used to this.
