Kataras POV:
Once we found out that Lily and Appa were missing Aang and Anya burst into tears, and who can blame them, they both just lost their best friends.
I was comforting Aang while Sokka was comforting Anya, the two of them have had a tough year, between Aang being frozen and Anya loosing Yue, not a great year for them.
Aang: HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN TOPH! HOW COULD YOU LET APPA AND LILY GET TAKEN BY SOME SANDBENDERS!!!?
Toph: The library was sinking, you guys were still inside!
Aang: YOU COULD HAVE YELLED TO ME! I COULD HAVE SAVED THEM!!!
Katara: Aang, Toph did everything she could, you need to calm down.
Aang: HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT KATARA!? LOOK AT YOUR BEST FRIEND!! LOOK HOW HEART BROKEN SHE IS!
I look over and see Anya sobbing into Sokkas chest, I felt like my own heart was breaking into a million pieces, she was like my little sister.
Katara: I know, it breaks my heart by yelling at Toph is not going to solve anything and we need to get out of this desert before a storm picks up.
Aang reluctantly backs down and I grab his arm and Tophs hand and call Sokka over who holds Anya's hand.
Sokka: Which way do we go?
Katara: Well, I think straight is our best bet.
I see them all nod their heads and we start walking.
We walk for what seems like hours when we come to a cactus.
Sokka: Hey! Cactuses have water trapped inside!
He cuts it open and takes a drink
Sokka: It's very thirst quenching
He passes it off to Anya who takes a long drink, after a minute I notice her pupils get very wide.
Anya: Ya, Sokkas right it is very thirst quenching! Here Katara have some
Katara: I don't think that's such a good idea.
Sokka: Drink Cactus juice, it'll quench ya it's the quenchiest!
I just look wide eyed at both of them giggling, Sokka lifts Anya into the air and twirls her around and then they both come crashing down.
I slap my palm to my forehead. Well I guess Anya won't think about loosing Lily for a little while at least. I start to pull them along through the desert.
Katara: I think we should rest here for a little while. I'll wake you all up in a few hours.
After a few hours I wake everyone up and we start to walk again, Anya and Sokka are still laughing and falling over due to the cactus juice, Aang is still angry and Tooh is trying to see through her feet but it's hard on sand
Katara: Hey look a cloud! Aang can you fly up and collect the water from it?
He looks at me and then angrily takes off on his glider and collects the water and the flys back down and hands it back to me.
Katara: Wow there is hardly anything in here.
Aang: IM SORRY OK! I DID ALL I COULD! ITS A DESERT CLOUD! AT LEAST IM DOING SOMETHING! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
Katara: Trying to keep us all together.
