Sokkas POV:
After we told Anya what happened to Yue she stopped talking, she's been in her tent for two days and refuses to eat anything, every once and awhile Katara can get her to drink some water but that's the best we can do.
I'm really worried about her, I mean she's healing very well but if she doesn't eat she'll just get worse and I feel like there is nothing I can do.
Just then I see Anya come out of the tent
Sokka/Katara/Aang: ANYA!
Katara: Your up! Are you hungry? Can we get you anything?
She just stares at us and walks off into the forest
Aang: ANYA!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?
Katara: I'm gunna go get her
And with that Katara goes to try and catch up to Anya
Kataras POV:
I feel like I've been looking for hours, for someone who escaped death and hasn't eaten in two days Anya's pretty fast
I keep running and finally see her sitting by a stream with her knees pulled up into her chest with her head down
I approach her slowly and then put my hand gently on her shoulder, I can feel her tense up but I know she doesn't have the energy to fight me
Katara: Anya? Look, it's ok if you don't want to talk but at least listen to me then, you have gone through a very tragic loss, Sokka and I went through the same thing, and we figured out that the best thing to do is to let your friends and family help you, Yue may be gone but you still have us, Sokka Aang and I and what about Lily? We all love you and care about you and you are scaring us, you won't eat, you won't sleep, it's not good for you.
I stop and wait to see if she is going to answer me, I see her lift up her head and then she turns and looks at me, I almost gasp, her eyes are sunken, I can see her cheek bones and she is as white as snow, and she is crying non stop
I put my arms around her and pull her close to me
Katara: Now, I know I can't replace Yue, but I would be honored to fill in for her as your big sister.
With that I feel her snuggle into my neck and I can feel tears going down her face
Katara: Why don't we go back to camp and we will all have some dinner? Ok?
She just looks up at me and then nods
Katara: You don't have to talk until you are ready
She nods and stands up on shaky legs, I put her arm over my shoulder and I put an arm around her waist and I help her walk back to camp
Aangs POV:
I really hope Anya's alright, she and Katara have been gone for a long time, when they left it was lunch time, now the moon has appeared and they are still not back!
Aang: Maybe I should take Lily and try to find them
Sokka: Don't worry Aang, Katara will find her, you know how good she is at this stuff
I nod and continue to play with Momo and wait
Finally after what feels like forever I see two figures come out of the woods
Aang/Sokka: ANYA!!!
Katara walks Anya over to me and Sokka and sits her down
Aang: Hey Anya! Where have you been?
She just looks at me and does not say a word
Katara: She's not going to talk Aang, we just have to give her time, she's been through a lot
Sokka: Hey Anya look who's here
Sokka calls Lily over who puts her head in Anya's lap and wags her tail
Sokka: Lily missed you a lot, she kept sniffing for you, she was really worried
Anya just nods and pets Lily
Katara goes and gets Anya a bowl of soup and hands it her
She just stares blankly at it
Katara: Come on Anya it's my own version of sea prunes Yue told me they were your favorite
Well that was the wrong thing to say, Anya just goes completly blank and starts to cry like I've never seen anyone cry before! I rush over to her and give her a big hug
Aang: Shhh Anya, it's going to be ok, hey if your feeling better tomorrow I could take you for a ride on my glider! I know you've always wanted to do that!
She still does not stop crying
We all just look at each other all just thinking what to do
Aang: Anya, I went through the same thing, I lost all of my people, all my friends, my home, and I lost 100 years! I didn't think I was ever going to get through it but then Katara and Sokka told me something that I will never forget for as long as I live, "We are your family now"
With that I see Anya starts breathing normally and stops crying and she just looks up at me and then puts her arms around me
Sokka: Wow Aang, good job
I look over at Sokka and put my finger to my lips miminking shhh, I put my chin on top of her head and rub her back
Aang: It's all going to be ok, we've got ya
With that we all huddle around Anya and hug her and sooth her and we notice that she had fallen asleep, we put her to bed and I notice Katara smiles and breaths a sigh of relief
Katara: Well, at least we got her to sleep
I nod and smile and then we all turn in for the night
