Kataras POV:
I am so excited to start training today!! Master Pakku may have been a jerk but at least he is being reasonable enough to know when someone is right. Anya is the greatest!! This is all because of her! And I get to train with her today!
Anya comes running up with excitement written all over her face
Anya: KATARA! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!? WE ARE FINALLY GUNNA GET TO TRAIN TODAY WITH A REAL MASTER!
We both embrace and high five! This is going to be so great!
Master Pakku walks up and starts to demonstrate, after a few hours of this we each get to spar with someone else and Anya and I quickly show that we are the best students in the class!
Master Pakku: Maybe one day the rest of you will be able to fight a sea sponge. Katara and Anya, you are dismissed for the day, the rest of you.....(he glares at Aang) including the Avatar, will stay until sunset.
There are a bunch of groans from all the boys.
Katara: Haha see ya guys later
Anya: Enjoy
We both give a girly wave and laugh
Anya and I spend the rest of the day walking around and laughing and talking, we exchange stories and laugh, she has really had an incredible life for a girl of 14, she has so much responsibility! And it sounds like Yue is very protective of her, how Anya is able to go anywhere without a million guards protecting her I'll never know!
Anya: Hey Katara
Katara: Ya Anya?
Anya: I just realized I never properly thanked you for saving my life
Katara: Well it wasn't all me
Anya: But it was, if you hadn't known what to do about my wounds I would have died, you saved my life and I couldn't be more grateful to you and I will never be able to repay you but here is a start
She pulls out two seal skin bracelets with the watertribe insignia on them but one has a K encircled with flowers and the other has an A encircled by stars, she puts it on my wrist and I just stare at it
Anya: I made them myself, I hope you like it, I know their not perfect but-
I engulf Anya in a hug
Katara: Anya, they are beautiful, I can't believe you did this, this means so much to me, thank you!
We spend the rest of the day talking and hugging and laughing and just having a great time, that is until the battle drums are rung.
