Kataras POV:
It's been two weeks since we left the Northern Watertribe and Anya still isn't awake, I would be worried but General Iroh did say that she would live, Sokka has just been going mad the past two weeks, I'm worried about him too and Aang still isn't taking waterbending seriously, HE NEEDS TO LEARN IT!!!
Katara: Hey Aang?
Aang comes spinning over on his air ball
Aang: Ya Katara?
Katara: I'm gunna get Sokka to watch Anya for a little bit so I thought that we could practice some waterbending
Aang: Ok! That sounds fun!
I walk over to where Sokka is sharpening his boomerang for the fourteenth time and ask him to look after Anya, he nods and goes into her tent and Aang and I take off to the closest river
Sokkas POV:
I walk into Anya and Kataras tent and see a bandaged up Anya, I know she's gunna live but she just looks like she's at deaths door! She has bandages all over her chest, a few around her head, her arms and one leg and she's covered in bruises and cuts. If Zuko haven't killed Zhou I would kill him myself!
I kneel down next to her and push a strand of hair out of her face, even when she's banged up she is still so beautiful.
Sokka: Anya, if you can hear me, I just want to say, even though your sister is gone, I will always protect you, your father wants it and I'm going to honor that, but I want you to know that even if he hadn't asked, I would have volunteered.
I bend over and softly kiss her forehead which is when she opens her eyes as wide as disks and sits up and starts to scream
Anya: YUE! YUE!! YUE!! WHERE ARE YOU!!? PLEASE COME BACK! COME BACK!!
She starts to cry uncontrollably, it breaks my heart into a million pieces
Anya: WHERES YUE!!?
Sokka: Anya, it's ok it's Sokka, shhhh, it's going to be ok, your here with me Aang and Katara, everything's going to be alright.
I hold onto her and hug her and hold her close to me, I have to get Katara and Aang back here
Sokka: Just stay right here ok? Stay with Lily
Lily comes running over and licks Anya's face
I run out of the tent and find Katara and Aang splashing around in the water
Katara: Sokka! I thought I told you to watch Anya!?
Sokka: She's awake! But she's wondering where Yue is
I put my head down and sigh
Katara: Well we have to tell her some time
I nod and we all walk back over to the tent and when we enter we see Anya petting Lily and softly crying, her blue eyes looked like the sea
Katara: Anya, look, we have to tell you something
I walk forward and kneel down next to her and put her hand in my hand
Sokka: Yue.....didn't make it.....she sacrificed herself for the moon spirit and.....for you, I'm so sorry.
I look into Anya's eyes and see two blue eyes glistening with tears
Anya: What I did, I did for nothing, Yue.....I can't....I just.....
She can't get the words out, I pull out Yues ring and place it on her right ring finger.
Anya: It's Yues ring.....
Sokka: Master Pakku told me to give it to you when you woke up
Anya just stares at the ring her eyes still filled with tears
Katara: I'm so sorry Anya
We all sit next to her and embrace her and every once and a while I feel a tear slip on to my shirt
