Kataras POV:
We had left the creepy swamp behind us and we're headed to an Earth Kingdom village, really we were going to any Earth Kingdom village to find Aang and Earth bending teacher.
I was worried about Anya though, ever since we left the swamp, which granted has only been about a day and a half, has been acting very weird, for one she has been asleep in my lap the entire time with tears streaming down her face. I think the swamp rattled all of us, we all saw people.
Aang was steering Appa and like always Sokka was sharpening his boomerang, and I still had a sleeping Anya in my lap. I just sat there silently stroking and braiding her hair when I saw her eyelids slowly open.
Katara: Hey
Anya: Hey
Katara: You wanna talk about it?
Anya: No
Katara: You sure?
Anya: Yes
I gave her a motherly look of worry.
Anya: Really Katara I'm fine ok? Can we just drop it?
I nod
Anya: So, where are we off to now?
Sokka: Some random Earth Kingdom village to find Aang a teacher.
Anya: Well ok then, Aang how much longer?
Aang: Maybe a few more hours
I see Anya groan and fall back in the saddle in a huff, in annoyance.
A few hours past and we were finally in a quaint little village where almost immediately Sokka had his eye on a bag.
Sokka: It's pricey but I really do like it.
Katara: Then you should get it you deserve something nice.
Sokka: I do don't I!? But no it's too expensive
Katara: Ok then don't
Sokka: You know what I'm gunna get it!
Anya: Well now that the very important bag issue is solved maybe we should find the all mighty Avatar a teacher
Aang: YA!!
We look around for awhile when we find a man handing out flyers for a teacher. Aang gives it a try but only ends coming out covered in dirt and shoving pebbles out of his ears.
Kid: I hear the Bolder will win at Earth Rumble Six.
Kid 2: I don't know, he's gunna have to fight his way through the best Earth Benders in the world to even have a chance.
Aang after hearing this runs up to the two boys and only ends up getting made fun of, Anya and I both notice this and go after them.
Katara: Hey strong guys wait up!
Anya: Show us some cool moves!
Finally we end up freezing them to a wall with their heads butted together.
Anya: Not gunna lie that felt good.
I smile at Anya, glad to see she can still find enjoyment in something, even if it is beating up boys.
Katara: Are you ready to find an Earth Bending teacher Aang? Cause we are going to Earth Rumble Six!
Anya's POV:
We get to Earth Rumble Sic which was gritty and gross and well, dirty, which I guess is a given. We get you out seats and the announcer comes out from the center of the arena.
Katara: This is just gunna be a bunch of guys chucking rocks at each other isn't it?
Sokka: That's what I paid for.
I roll my eyes
There are a lot of contest envy each one brutal, Aang is not impressed and a little disappointed. Then finally a little girl takes the stage. People are calling her The Blind Bandit.
Katara: She can't really be blind, it's just part of her character.....
Aang: I think she is.
The Bolder: The Bilder feels conflicted about fighting a young blind girl.
The Blind Bandit: Sounds to me like your scared Bolder!
The Bolder: The Bolder is over his conflicted feelings and is ready to bury you in a landslide!
The Blind Bandit: Whenever your ready The Pebble!
They fight for no more then a few minutes when The Blind Bandit defeats The Boulder because, as Aang points out, she waited and listened.
Anya: Aang, I think you found your teacher.
