"The board would want you to reconsider Forbes and this time they're not taking no for an answer Althea." Batchi let out they're in Althea's home, the CEO has just came back from the meeting.

"What did you tell them?" Althea sighed as she sips on a glass of whiskey

"You know you haven't had dinner and your drinking again that's not good for you. Oh and I told them that I'll try and push my luck on you?" Batchi warned, she's worried about Althea's alcohol consumption for the past week because October 11's fast approaching again.

"I'm fine with the airline food they served me this afternoon. You should've told them a down right no." Althea shrugged as she settled on the leather La-Z-Boy; they're in her entertainment room, although not much was entertaining about the room aside from the bar and the huge LCD similar to what she have in her office. The room has always looked rather depressing.

"We've been talking about it for two hours you know, I would've bored a hole on the mahogany table with my pen out of impervious tapping if that conversation continued. Why don't you just give them what they want? They're right, people in that company owe you so much than they give you credit for, employees see you everyday and they're not aware of who you really are. Come on Althea, Tito Anthony wouldn't want you to dwell in the past. I know you're still scared - -"

"I'm not scared." Althea said with a hard tone

"Okay not scared, but what?"

"I like my privacy." Althea softly said, lying to her own self; she's never a private person but after everything that's happened in the past, Batchi's right she's scared but she also got too much ego to even accept it.

"Althea, this isn't about privacy anymore, you're depriving yourself of the life and happiness you deserve, you're always too giving and you forget to take what's yours."

"I own nothing Batchi, it's all dad's."

"What are you talking about? Of course everything's yours by paper, you succeeded him, you are the only name on his last will and testament so don't tell me that you own nothing. In Tito Anthony's reign as CEO, ACG never left number 3 for 15 years Althea, but look at ACG now? You were able to shoot it to the top in just 5 years. That gets you on the 27th spot of the Forbes Full list of Asian Billionaires and you're now the number 1 richest Asian woman on their list as well."

"Is this why you're asking me to give a shit about that interview? What is this really for Batchi?" Althea hissed with burrowing irritation.

"Recognition. Respect. Security." Batchi said with conviction

"No. I already have those." Althea stubbornly shrugged what her best friend told her.

"You're being stubborn again. What I'm saying is, recognition, in not only the company finally getting to know their CEO but also the recognition, for ACG in the whole business community. Respect not only for you but also the respect ACG earned and deserves, that interview will make everything you worked hard for official. And security of the elite status of the company opening it to the wider web not only in Asia anymore but also the whole world Althea. This is basically your dad's dream." Batchi elaborated almost convincingly, but Althea remained cold and just stood up from the recliner to turn the projector on. Batchi took that as the end of the conversation and just pathetically surrendered.
