Week 2: Miami, Florida

"Yes ma, we're already in Miami, yes we'll be staying somewhere near South Beach. Okay ma, you too. I'll tell her then, thanks ma, bye."

"What does mama said?" Althea smiled as she sees me walking towards her

"Said I should keep you away from beach girls." I said lightly poking her nose

"Uhh? Why? I can assure her that I only have eyes for you." Althea smiled, we're still here at the Miami International Airport, waiting for the complimentary transfer from the hotel.

"I mean do you really have to look this hot? You're adding up to the subtropical climate love." I approached her closer giving her a light squeeze on her bum and a kiss on her cheek, she blushed and frowned. She's wearing a hanging sleeveless top that can easily reach her mid rib if she raise her arms a little higher and short shorts, who would've thought that she's already on the top 20 billionaires according to last year's tally, when she looks like this.

"Oh, now that you mention, I'm pretty sure honey you're turning more heads than I am right at this moment." She murmured pulling me closer by the waist as she looked around us.

"You're crazy, they're not looking at me they're looking at you actually." I countered

"No, I beg to disagree." She pushed hugging me fully, almost like a protective shield and I can't help but laugh.

"You're too clingy." I commented, hugging her back

"You are too." She grinned, we were like that when her phone rang, which she answered instantly not breaking away with my arms around her.

"Hello?"

"Hi Thea!" I heard Batchi's chirpy voice on the other line

"Oh Batch why? You happy?" Althea asked

"Are you already enjoying the oriental suite I booked you?" Batchi laughed

"No not yet, we're still waiting for the car, the flight was a bit earlier than the eta so I guess they'll be here any minute now." Althea giggled

"Oh okay, sure, you enjoy Florida and the rest of your honeymoon, cause baby you owned the 11th spot!" Batchi cheerily beamed on the other line

"11th spot?" Althea wondered

"Forbes nut head! you're all over the news again, ACG received the award for the most outstanding company of 2018 from the Business Mirror and then you landed on the 11th spot because of the added gross from Atlas-Prime, Titan, Primus and the Asian counterparts. So if they look at you right now? They'll be looking at a 39.7 billion dollar babe. Oh wait married woman! Sorry Jade." Batchi detailed with all the enthusiasm she could mutter and we can't help but laugh.

"I'm pretty sure if they look at me right now all they would see is an overly-attached wife all tangled up with her wife in the middle of MIA. Anyways thanks for the great news. The car's here so we better go? Yeah I got all three fancy stores you mention, yep, Jade did the picking for you not me, so don't worry. Okay see you soon. Bye bye." Althea brush off the 11th spot easily.

Let's be honest, it is not the insane Forbes title alone but the amount of networth that makes it so prestigious, but Althea has always been great with handling it like it's not a big deal, since her 2015 interview, she hasn't left the spot for the Asia's number one and her standing at the world's list just keeps getting higher, she was on the 20th back in 2017 and now according to Batchi she jumped nine places higher and it chills me with just the thought of how economically powerful she is.
