"Hello? Ali? You called?"

"I was just checking if you've already woman up." Ali stated laughing on the other end of the line.

"Actually she's with me right now. We're on our way to the cinema."

"Wow. Never thought you liked watching movies, you never took me to places like that." Ali said in teasing tone

"Well most probably because you're always practicing and I'm always watching you practice every time." I come back and she laughed again

"Anyways, it's good to know that you two are together now, I feel relieved. Ben and I will be coming home on the 2nd week of December, and the wedding's on December 31st."

"Seriously? All right we'll catch up again soon then? I gotta go, Jade's back."

"Okay. Send my regards to sweet Jadey."

"Have you guys met before? You sound like you've bonded?"

"We have our secrets Althea stop meddling with our conversations or I'll tell Tita Agnes." Ali threatened

"Whatever. See you soon then?" I laughed they always use that against me. My mom's teaching.

"Yes. See you, bye bye Althea."

"Bye Ali."

"Ali called?" Jade asked as she held my hand, she just came back from the restroom before we enter the director's club. I'm not used to watching movies on cinemas because when I was younger mom wouldn't want me to go alone or with friends since the whole place according to her is too dark. And when I got into high school and college my interests were diverged to other things away from watching an over priced motion picture on an uncomfortable chair for two hours, so this is basically my first time.

"Yeah, she just want to make sure I got a hold of you already." I said looking tenderly on her make-up less face, which is still beautiful mind you. Jade smiled and blushed, and I confirmed they must have really had the chance to talk before Ali left.

"What are we watching again?" I asked as we entered the cinema the two women at the reception were meaningfully eyeing us or me I don't know but Jade tightened her grip on my hand and my arm as we passed by them.

"Silong. It's an indie film." Jade said

"So you love watching movies?" I asked

"Ahuh, I like watching movies more than reading a novel." She casually said as she lead us the upper side of the cinema by the center row. The film hasn't started yet and there are not much people for the last full show tonight, which is good.

"Hmm I like reading more I guess. Keeps an active imagination and you can have your own interpretation of the whole thing." I said

"So what's your favorite movie?" I added as I try to take a handful of the barbecue popcorn on the bucket she's holding but she swatted my hand before I was able to

"The movie hasn't started yet." She scolded and I laughed

"I didn't know that I have to wait for it to start before I could eat popcorn. Sorry first time problems." I said making her giggle

"Favorite movie by the way is Pulp Fiction." She said

"I've watched that..." I commented which gave me an idea as the lights go out and the screen lit up.
