Chapter 5
Mr.Schue's POV
Dinner was absolutely lovely. It was so great to catch up with everyone both at the dinner and via Skype. You see at dinner we ended up Skyping some of the old gang like Brittany, Artie, Tina, and Mercedes. For those who didn't answer, we left them surprise video messages which I'm sure they'll enjoy.
I look at the clock. It's already midnight. Where did the time even go? I should probably head out for the night. Everyone is happy, but they seem to be getting pretty tired. I don't want to keep anyone up longer than I have to. I tell Kurt, Santana, and Rachel that I'm heading home now. Kurt and Santana hug me goodbye and Rachel offers to see me out.
"So Mr. Schue, where do you live?" "Not too far from NYADA actually. About a couple minutes away more or less. I know that your apartment is only about five minutes away so we live about three minutes from each other." She laughs. "I guess I'm coming to have to over soon." "I'd love that. I actually could use some help finishing my unpacking. Would you be up for that?" "Definitely Mr.Schue! What time should I come by?" "Come by at 2. I'll let you know if anything changes, but I highly doubt that it will."
"That sounds good Mr. Schue. Have a nice night." I do something that surprises me. I kiss Rachel on the cheek. She looks at me with a shocked expression, but is blushing at the same time. "Good night Rachel." I walk away with a dopey grin on my face. I expect that Rachel is doing the same.
