She'll Be Safe Again
Chapter 21
Blaine's POV
That night...
Kurt and I go over to Mr.Schue's house to have Kurt apologize for the way he's been treating Mr.Schue and Rachel, especially Rachel. Him and Santana throwing Rachel out of their own apartment that she lived in first was just wrong. Hopefully, Kurt's learned his lesson.
I knock on the door for Kurt. He's shaken up and as white as a sheet. I hope he can get through this without passing out and/or having an anxiety attack. The door opens a minute later and Mr.Schue smiles at me, but frowns at Kurt. He starts to close the door, but I put my arm in to prevent him from doing so. "Mr.Schue, Kurt means no harm. He's actually here to apologize to both you and Rachel. Right Kurt?" He nods and begins speaking.
"Mr.Schue, I am so deeply sorry for what I did to Rachel and all of the nasty things I said to you. Me of all people should understand how hard it is to be accepted in the society that we live in today. I learned my lesson and I hope that in time you can forgive me. As for Rachel, I'd like for her to move back in with me." Mr.Schue raises an eyebrow. "What do you mean you Kurt?" He shallows a lump in his throat. "What I mean by me is that it's just me now. I kicked Santana out yesterday. I told her to stay with Brittany. Rachel can come home and be safe again." Mr.Schue taps his foot. "Are you absolutely sure?" He nods. "I'm sure Mr.Schue. Just ask Blaine." I nod in agreement. Mr.Schue smiles a small smile. "Okay. She's asleep right now and I want to let her sleep. I'll tell her tomorrow and if she wants to live with you again, I'd be more than happy to let her."
Kurt and I thank Mr.Schue for his time and head home. All I can say is that went surprisingly well. Thank the lord.
