Chapter 34
Rachel's POV
The next day...
Will called me an hour ago to tell me that he really has to talk to me. I told him to come over right away. I'm really worried to be honest. He sounded really shaken up on the phone. I can only pray that it's nothing too bad. A knock on the door snaps me out of my trance.
I let Will in and he starts pacing the floor in all directions. I try to get him to sit down, but he refuses to. "Will you're seriously freaking me out. What happened?" He sighs and puts his head in his hands. "Emma flew in from Ohio last night and I found her on my doorstep at midnight. She came after me quite viciously. She kept saying how wrong you and I are together and that she wanted to take back what was hers."
A lump forms in my throat. "Oh. What did you say to her?" "I told her the truth. There is no other woman for me than you. I love you with all my heart Rachel. Emma may have had my heart once, but it now belongs to you. It only beats for you." I begin to blush. "That's great. Thank you Will for standing up for us." He kisses my forehead. "Anything for you my love. Now let's put this aside and go out for lunch. How does that sound?" I smile. "That sounds perfect."
