Chapter 19
Rachel's POV
The next day...
I put on a brave face as I enter the Spotlight Diner with Will. Santana immediately nudges Kurt to get a reaction of him, which she did. He rolled his eyes and stormed off. Meanwhile, Santana smirks at Will and I. I keep my head down a bit to avoid eye contact with her. Her icy stare is enough to send me over the edge right now.
Will flips me around as I clock in. "Listen Rachel, I know you don't believe me, but everything will be okay. I'll protect you from whatever harm comes our way. So cheer up a bit and just brush off the negative energy." I nod. "Good, now let's get to work babe."
The rest of day goes by okay. Kurt keeps to himself and Santana finds other people to annoy besides me. Maybe Will's right, maybe things will blow over soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Mr.Schue's POV
That night...
Work went a lot better than expected . I only had to tell off Santana twice, which is an all time low. Plus, she didn't slap me so that was an even bigger plus. I know that everyone is freaked out about Rachel and I dating, but I'm not giving up faith that they won't come around. They will in time. Despite the way they're acting, they're all still amazing and crazy talented people. They've established themselves in the world in the way that most people only dream of.
