Chapter 17
Rachel's POV
It's so strange for me to be sleeping at a place other than my own. Like this is the first time in over two years that I haven't been lying in my own bed at night. It's definitely a change, though I don't know if it's a good or bad one.
I'm currently letting a cucumber mask sit for ten minutes before I go to sleep. It's a ritual I do every night to reduce wrinkles. I can't let a face like mine look like a torn up couch cushion. I have a man I need to impress now on top of a Broadway career. Now I know what you're thinking, Rachel got fired for playing Fanny in Funny Girl after she choose to pursue a failing TV show that was copyrighted by the creators of That's So Raven. Well I came back to the city a few months ago and Sidney gave me another chance. I'm entirely grateful because Fanny was the role I was destined to play.
I'm snapped out of my thoughts when the guest room door opens. It's Will of course with a solemn look on his face. "Hey Rachel. I just wanted to see you before you go to sleep and to make sure you don't go to sleep upset." "I've calmed down a bit, but I'm still sort of out of it. I'm sure I'll get better with time. Thank you for everything that you've done and are doing for me Will. If it weren't for you, I would be out on the streets right now. You saved me." Tears swell up in his eyes. "No Rachel, you saved me."
