Chapter 13
Rachel's POV
Although work was exhausting today, it was nice having Mr.Schue around for the latter part of my shift. I fumble for the keys in my coat pocket, put them in the door, and open it. Santana is sitting on the couch watching an episode of Friends. "Hey Santana!" She ignores me. I block the TV to get her attention. "I said hey Santana." She rolls her eyes. "I heard you the first time dwarf, but I'm glad you're home because I actually need to talk to you about something." She shuts the TV off before turning her attention back to me.
"Listen Rachel, I'm not quite sure what Mr.Schue's intentions on, but you need to be careful. You are stepping into a deep territory that you might not find your way out of if you go any deeper. I know we're adults now, but I'm just trying to watch out for you. Mr. Schue was an amazing teacher, but he has quite the track record when it comes to women. I don't want you to be a part of that aftermath."
I grab Santana's hands and hold them in mine. "Santana I appreciate you looking after me so much, but I actually like Mr.Schue. I mean like like. I'm not saying I'm going to jump into anything with him, at least not right now. I'm going to take things slow and figure out what his intentions are before I consider dating him. Okay?" She sighs. "Okay Berry, but don't say that I didn't warn you." With that, she turns the TV back on to keep watching Friends and I'm once again left alone to my thoughts.
