SLASHER! Episode 1-"Don't Hold Your Breath"

Scene 3

(Police are at the scene of the murder of Britney. Britney is wheeled out by the coroner with a sheet covering her body as her friends hysterically cry.)

Chief Anthony Herald: What's the deal with this?

Police Officer #1: That's Britney Palmer. 14 year old. She was at a sleepover at her friend's house with 4 other girls in the house. Her 3 best friends & the older sister of one of the girls was in her room.

Police Officer #2: She was stabbed to death 3 times, all of them fatal wounds. She bled to death. Her friends found her body.

Chief Anthony Herald: It looks like everything's under control. The house is cleaned up, the body has been moved and picked up by the coroner, the parents have arrived. Why was I called here?

Police Officer #2: We need you to take a look at something.

(The police officers lead Chief Herald to the scene of the crime. He looks startled.)

Chief Anthony Herald: Dear God...it can't be....

Police Officer #1: Call out to God as much as you want. It's still here.

(They all face a wall that has writing that appears to be blood, most likely Britney's, that reads "Beware...The End Is Near".)

Chief Anthony Herald: But I thought we locked that sick twisted bastard up. Isn't he on Death Row?

Police Officer #2: Yeah. He's scheduled to be lethally injected in a couple of months.

Chief Anthony Herald: So...are we looking at a copycat?

Police Officer #1: I would imagine.

Chief Anthony Herald: I swore I thought this town's darkest days were behind us. But now...it's back to haunt us again. And who knows how bad the damage will be this time?...
