5 months later

I press my palms into my lower back to stretch out my muscles as Thomas sets down one final cardboard box with a huff. Standing up straight and stretching out his limbs as I do Thomas meets my eyes and smiles widely.

"Okay," Minho calls out from the other room. "The bed is on the frame."

Walking into the small living area to join us Minho swipes the back of his hand across his forehead which is slick with sweat, much like my own.

"Thanks man, appreciate it," Thomas tells him.

"Yeah yeah, I'm always here to help." The boy smirks and places his hands on his hips as he breathes heavily.

All day Minho, Thomas and I have been moving all of our boxes into the apartment that my boyfriend had shown me all those months before.

"I'll miss havin' you guys around," Minho says, then with a roll of the eyes he adds, "but all that kissing you do, not so much."

Thomas laughs while I feel my cheeks flush but I join in and giggle.

"Miss you too bud," Thomas replies. Pulling Minho into a man hug they slap each other on the back before pulling away and smiling.

Minho then approaches me and we do the same. After spending so much time at their dorm room, Minho and I have formed a bond, he's like my older brother; we'll tease and be sarcastic with one another.

"Gunna miss you Newtie." Minho ruffles my hair and I laugh with a roll of my eyes.

"You too Min."

Minho sighs and stretches his arms out to the sides before dropping them back against his torso.

"I should probably get going, I need to pack my shit up too."

Thomas and I visibly slump, it is exciting to have a place all our own, but we're so used to having Minho with us too, and while he could be annoying sometimes, he is fun company.

"Okay, thanks for all the help man." Thomas smiles at his friend, sadness evident on his features.

"Of course. I'll probably be stopping over one last time before I head home for break. But hell even then I'll be back, you two can't get rid of me that easily." With a wink Minho barks out a laugh and both Thomas and I join in.

"Bye Minho," I tell him, patting his shoulder as he passes me.

"Later Newtie." With a wave over his shoulder Minho pulls open the apartment door and steps into the hallway, shutting it behind him.

A slight sadness hangs above our heads for a moment until we both get back to work and busy ourselves with moving our few boxes into their correct rooms.

I grab hold of a box and heft it up, carrying it into the bathroom and setting it down atop the toilet lid.

Heading back into the main room I see Thomas wiping his hand across his forehead and taking a deep breath.

"Hey Newt could you check the time?" He asks.

Agreeing I spot our phones on the kitchen counter and walk over to them. Clicking the power button once I pick up my phone the screen lights up with a picture, Thomas and I.

I can't tell when it was taken but in the photo I'm smiling and looking off in the distance and Thomas sits on the floor beneath me, looking at me with a true expression of admiration on his face. I stare at the photo until the screen fades to black.

"Newt? Time?" Thomas chuckles and walks up behind me. "Oh, you must've grabbed my phone," he says.

"I didn't know you had any pictures of us," I say, turning around to face him, completely blown away by the image. The picture, everything about it was just so...I don't even know but it makes my heart flutter. The look on Thomas's face, the fact that he was looking at me like that; it was a look of pure love.
