Chapter 15: Into the Book (part 3)

Bad timing headmaster. "Really! He send us this when we're stuck in here!" Bloom said. "I know right!" I yelled back. "Hey at least it's something to motivate us to move faster." Libro said. "I guess." Bloom and I said. I know it's bad timing but I kinda wanted to ask Bloom. We've been in the book for quite a while now. It October fourth, my friends are scattered and we're stuck in wait a minute. "Where are we again?" I asked. "We're in the Rose garden maze at the Red Queens castle, it's the only way to enter the castle." Owl said. "Are you sure Fiona is in there?" Bloom asked. "We're tracking her iPhone, she's in there alright, and it's not pretty. I hacked into her camera and she seems to be in a jail cell. All we need to do is enter the castle and go into the dungeon." Jeremy said. We heard a rustling come from around the corner. I heard a few voices but they were hard to make out. I saw their shadows, the voices became a little bit clearer. "It says that their phones are right here, but I don't see them." Said a boy. "Someone has been following us." I whispered. "Everybody grab something to use as a weapon, on the count of three we are going to surprise them." I said. I turned, all we had were sticks and roses. That will have to do. "1,...2,..... 3!" I yelled. We jumped out and halted once we realized who it was. "Hey guys, what a doughnut." Whitney said. We dropped out 'weapons' and gave everybody a hug. "Oh thank God you guys are okay." I said. "We never thought we would see you guys again!" Alexis said. "Where did you get the doughnuts from?" Owl asked. "We fell into the Mad Tea Party after leaving Oz." Richard said. "Really! How Was Oz!" I yelled. "Don't ask!" Zach and Rich yelled. "How did you guys end up in Wonderland?"Bloom asked. "Lily has mermaid tears, which opens portals to where ever you wish." Whitney explained. "Okay, nice reunion but now we need to find Fiona before something Fatal happens." Libro said. "Guys look!" Jeremy said, holding his phone to us. It was a video from what I assumed as Fiona's phone. "It's Fiona she's being taken out side of the castle." Jeremy said. "Where is she being taken?" Owl asked. "She's being locked in a room, it's covered with different types of mirror's." Jeremy said. "Where is that located?" I asked. "It's somewhere towards the croquet fields." Jeremy said. "Whitney drop the doughnuts, we have to go now!" Bloom yelled. We started to follow the tracking device of Jeremy's phone out side of the Rose maze. We started to run to the opposite side of the castle, but in order to do that we would have to run through the Mad Tea Party, past the dark woods and through the cactus race. We ran into the woods, the lanterns hanging lighted our way. Entered the Mad Tea Party and ran across the table. "HAPPY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY!" A man said as we ran. We jumped of the table and through the dark woods. "Curiouser and Curiouser!" A cat with an unusually large smile said. There was a fork in the road. And I know what your thinking, there was not more than one way through, there was an actual giant fork in the road. We an through the fork and out of the woods. "COME ONE, COME ALL OF YOU AND JOIN THE CACTUS RACE!" A giant dodo bird yelled. We began to run in a circle along side with other confusing animals. Flamingos, a mock turtle, a white rabbit wearing a coat, a door mouse and a lavender and purple striped cat. "EVERYBODY TAKE A RIGHT!" I yelled. We ran out of the circle and back towards the castle. "OVER THERE I CAN SEE THE CROQUET FIELDS!" I yelled. "WAIT!" Jeremy yelled. We all stopped, and turned our heads to him. "The tracker, it leads over there to that tree." Jeremy said. "Which one, there's so many!" Owl said. "Over here follow me." Jeremy said. We followed him as we tried to catch our breath. The tree was baby blue and mint green. There was a mirror stuck onto the tree. "What is this?" Everyone asked. "It's the door to the looking glass." Owl said. "This must be where Fiona is!" Libro and Jeremy said. "Only one way to find out." Owl said. She walked in front of the mirror, without hesitation she walked through it. She vanished inside the mirror. One by one we all went through. I had finally passed through the the mirror, everyone was there surrounding a girl. "Fiona!" Owl said. The girl looked up and began to cry, she ran over to owl and gave her a big hug. Libro and Jeremy joined in. My phone vibrated "Freak Update, new student found
Name: Fiona Enid. Age: 15. Freak Type: Mystic." The message said. "Who are they." The girl said breaking out of the hug while looking towards us. The girl wore color changing kaleidoscope glasses under her black and orange shot hair. She had freckles and a button nose. She wore a long tie-dye scarf and a short black Rococo dress with sun and moon symbols on the tool of the skirt. "They are fellow students from the school, they helped us find you, we're here to take you back." Owl explained. The girl walked towards us and gave me a hug. "Thank you!" Fiona said everyone gathered around her and gave her a group hug. "C'mon guys lets go home!" I said. "But how?" Bloom and my team asked. "Well the only way of course!" Libro and Owl said. They began to walk through the hall of mirrors all the way to the end. At the end of the hall was what must have been the worlds biggest mirror. "Everyone hold hands!" Owl yelled. "Where are we going!" My team and I yelled. "THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS!" Jeremy yelled. The giant mirror began to glow the worlds most beautiful light. We began to ran toward it. The mirror began to suck us into its light as we ran. We started to lift from the ground. "I CAN SEE THE GARDEN!" Whitney yelled. "EVERYBODY HOLD ON!" Owl yelled. We started to fly through the portal faster and faster, we were losing oxygen. "EVERY ONE LET GO NOW!" Libro yelled. We all let go of our hands. One by one we flew out of the book and back into the garden room. Once we were all out the book had closed and fell to the ground. We all stared at each other in shock. "Congratulations, you have made it through your first task. This is one of many." Headmaster had said as he entered the room. "Owl, Libro, Jeremy, and Fiona. Welcome back, I see you have met your fellow student here." He said. They looked back at us and smiled. "Yeah we have, they we couldn't have come back without them." Fiona said. "I see, well students go and get some rest. You have been gone for quite a while." Headmaster said. "What day is it?" I asked. "It's October 30th, don't worry about homecoming prices, I have paid for the whole thing on your behalf. And don't fuss that it has been a whole month, the more students you find, you will get better with your time management." Headmaster said. We all looked shocked. We had been gone a whole month, it had only felt like a few days, maybe a week but not a whole month. "Now go get some rest and get ready for tomorrow's dance....it looks like Richard has already beat you too it." Headmaster said. We turned to see that Richard had already fallen asleep. "Don't wake him up, he's had a tough trip in Oz, I'll carry him to our dorm." Zachary said. "Goodnight." Headmaster said as he left. We all went back into our dorms. We said our good nights and got ready for bed. I should start keeping a journal for all this madness. Well goodnight world, lets see what tomorrow will be like, and lets hope tomorrow's dance will be amazing.

~Zachary~
I put Richard in his bed making sure he didn't wake up. "I'm glad I was able to save you, I was so scared I was gonna lose you." I said. "I just wish I was that brave to tell you that..... I like you. I like you a lot. I've never stopped liking you ever since you found my ship and helped me live." I whispered. I crawled into bed and shut off the lamp. He didn't move, I was basically having a conversation with myself. "If only I was brave enough to tell you how I feel about you. If only if I was brace enough to ask you to the dance. Goodnight, tomorrow is a new day." I said closing my eyes.

~Richard~
I heard everything. I heard all of what Zach said. I had never felt more happy than how I am right now. Tomorrow is the day where I tell Zach how I feel. I didn't dare move or speak when he was taking but I could help but smile while he was. Thank you God for everything you have done for us. Everything happens for a reason. And this, this was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I looked up to see that Zach was asleep. "Yes, I will go to the dance with you." I whispered. I closed my eyes and smiled. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
