Renesmee POV

I woke up in my love's muscular arms. I felt so safe here. I wanted to wake him, but knew he had a rough night. I delicately untangled myself and hopped in the shower. I got out, did my hair and went to my enormous closet. I settled on some white skinny jeans with a black tank top. I grabbed some black wedges and gold jewelry. I blew my angel a kiss and left the room. I didn't even get out the door when Alec was in my face. Waiting for me, no doubt. I read his mind last night. Apparently I would make wonderful "Arm Candy" and he will "Do anything to win me over" as he put it. Excuse me, but I am not an object nor a prize to be won. I am a person dammit. "Where's the dog" he asked while smiling devilishly. "I'm right here." My Jake said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I kissed him hungrily. "Why didn't you wake me beautiful?" he asked, slightly hurt. "You were just too cute to wake up." I said in my sweet voice as I kissed him once more. "Plus I know you didn't get much sleep last night." I added softly. He furrowed his brows. "I don't care if I only get ten minutes of sleep love, I want to wake up when you do" he said sleepily, "I like waking up with you in my arms." he said sweetly as he kissed my forehead. "After all, you are ALL mine. Nothing will change that. Ever." he stated making direct eye contact with Alec. Alec gruffed in return. I reluctantly faced Alec again while taking Jake's hand. "If you will excuse me, since I am half human, I must go and eat." I jokingly said with a dazzling smile. "Of course, dear Renesmee" he answered delicately. "Where is Jane?" I asked curiously as Jakey and I walked past him. "Trying to hunt like a... Vegetarian." he said. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think the Volturi could even attempt to change the inhuman diet they had. "Oh okay" I said with a dazzling smile once more. He stared at me dreaming some rather innapropriate things. Good thing Jake can't read minds. I really disliked being around Alec and I knew Jake hated it more, but I needed to suck up if I wanted to walk away with my family intact. That was the only scary thought about the Volturi, they could kill my family in an instant. My family was so protective that all eight were going, plus Jake and his pack. The pack was going to stay outside, Jake would get them if need be. Jake always told me how much the pack loves me. I loved hearing it, they were my boyfriends brothers, how could you not love it? They called and texted me constantly asking for mindless updates on how I was and how I was feeling. This started ever since I got a phone a year ago. I loved them though. They were as protective as my vampire family.

Jake picked me up and took me to the kitchen. Everyone was in the family room except for Nanu Carlisle, Uncle Emmett and Aunt Rose, I assumed they were with Jane. Everyone else was in the family room. They saw us come in with Alec trailing behind and smiled and blew kisses as I went in the kitchen. Grandma Esme had our food ready, as always. She was a wonderful cook. "We're leaving tonight" my father said matter-of-factly. Alec looked sad, I read his thoughts and he "wanted more time with me to change my mind" great. I have a psycho vampire trying to get at me when I am happily taken. Awesome. I sat on Jake's lap again. For as confident as he is, he sure gets jealous easy. It was really cute though, I had to admit. He smiled at my small gesture and kissed my cheek tenderly. We finished and Nana Esme insisted on dishes. No change in that pattern, ever. I turned to Jake, his face was so close and I really wanted to break that distance. I was so happy my father could no longer read my thoughts, the day Jake and I talked, I realized my full extent. I was a shield and a selective mind reader. I never had to focus on my shield, only on expanding and contracting it. It was stronger than my mothers and prevented physical "talents" as well. So basically, I was untouchable. My mind reading was selective, thankfully. I only read minds when I wanted. Jake inched towards my face, breaking my thoughts. My father hissed and I laughed a musical laugh. Jake looked irritated until he heard my giggle. His face immediately softened and he kissed my nose. He was so sweet with his little gestures. We ran upstairs and started packing, I saw Alec start to tag along so I gave Aunt Alice a pleading look, she quickly got his attention and insisted he come and talk to her. He was not careful in his resenting attitude toward her at the moment, she could not have cared less. As soon as we were in my room, I locked my door and turned around to Jake hungrily crushing his lips against mine. He caught me way off guard. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him. I made sure to shield his thoughts. Just in case. He pushed me lightly against a wall. He was driving me crazy. I kissed his neck the way he loves. I pulled away and was about to go back to his lips when he put me down, kissed my forehead, and started putting some space between us. "I wasn't finished" I said as I closed the distance. My lips met his again and he kissed me lightly. One. Two. Three. He smiled, "Alec has been driving me nuts. Your mine. I just needed to remind myself of that." he said, never breaking our gaze. "Feel free to remind yourself often" I said with a wink. He kissed my cheek and started packing. We packed for a few days trip and then we brought it down to the car. We were taking the two black Lincoln Navigators that my family had purchased for this specific trip. No one cared about money in my family. Jake smiled and picked me up and not even a second later, Alec was back with Jane to his left. We will go in the same car as you he said cheerfully, his red eyes catching my gaze. "Very well. I assure you that you will sit very comfortably in the middle. Jake and I will be in the back and my parents driving." I said so sweetly that even he could not deny me. Jake smiled at my side. I put my shield around him when I saw Jane glare his way. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder as I hugged his waist. "Jane are you alright dear? You look frustrated." I said innocently. "I'm fine" she snapped. "Don't talk to her like that" Jake and Alec said at the same time. "She is MY girlfriend, I will handle it. Thank you Alec." Jake said through his teeth. Alec rolled his eyes and caught an intense stare down with Jane. Poor thing, Jane probably felt betrayed by her brother. "Okay well if there is anything I can do, please let me know" I said in my sweetest voice. She glared and said, "Thank you" her voice was contrasting her facial features however, she looked angry but said it nicely. Probably trying to get back in Alec's good graces. After Jane snapped at me, I noticed my family slightly hovering. Uncle Emmett suddenly appeared by putting things in the car he was driving. Uncle Jasper was sorting the things in our car. Aunt Alice and Aunt Rose were putting their suitcases in. My parents were at my side in an instant. After the last words shared with Jane and I however, they slowly dispursed. We all gathered in the cars. Nanu Carlisle, Nana Esme, Uncle Jasper, Auntie Alice, Uncle Emmett, and Auntie Rose in one car and Me, Jakey, my parents, Jane, and Alec in the other. The pack would travel by foot so that the Volturi would not be aware of their presence. I planned on shielding my family so that no thoughts could be read by Aro. I was starting to drift off into sleep on Jake's lap. He was gently stroking my hair in a calming way. I slowly began to feel myself relax. He stopped to my dissapointment, I looked up and found him sleeping. This comforted me enough to fall asleep as well.
