First Day

Renesmee POV

Jake and I spent the two days before school in bed. We only left it to eat and shower. I was in total bliss. I had gotten my schedule. AP English with Aunt Alice and Mommy, Music 204 with Daddy, AP Chemestry with Jake, Auntie Alice, and Uncle Jasper, Leadership with Daddy and Aunt Alice, AP History with Jake and Uncle Jasper, AP Calculus with Jake and Uncle Jasper, and PE with Auntie Rose, Uncle Em, and Jake. It was going to be weird just calling everyone by their first name. I already knew my courses up to my Junior year in college, one of the many perks of being half vampire, I had a photographic memory. I woke up in Jakey's arms. Today was the day that I started high school. Man am I nervous! I get up with Jake and we shower together. I let my hair dry in natural curls and I put on the black dress that eveyone loved and threw some black wedges with it. Auntie- I mean Alice, wore a dress too. Jake, Uncle Em, Uncle Jasper, and I went in my jeep. Daddy, Mommy, Auntie Alice, and Auntie Rose all went in the Volvo. Apparently my Uncles wanted to protect me 'For as long as possible before the male specimen caught wind of my incredible sight and then they would have to destroy them' Jake hated when they said stuff like that. Jake could get so jealous sometimes. He really had nothing to worry about. Girls threw themselves at him and I don't like it either but I try not to let it bug me. We arrived at Lansing High and everyone started staring. We made our way to the office through the uncomfortable gazes. Mrs. Brown was our principal and she gave us the schedules that we already knew. She wished us a good first day. Hopefully, it will be. Jake and I had our lockers right by each other. Excellent. We walked hand in hand to my English class. I sat with Bella and Alice in the three seated rows. We had to introduce ourselves. We all stood up and said our names. The class seemed super easy and I loved writing essays. Next I had music with Edward, we both were playing the piano and were offered the main musical role in the school orchestra, we declined politely saying we didn't have the time. I had AP Chemestry with Jake, Alice, and Jasper. Jake and I were lab partners and so were Alice and Jasper. We did a simple experiment and Jake and I started the curve. This brunette girl, Amber, who sat behind us, apparently thought I was taking her spot as the number one chemist of the class according to her thoughts. Leadership was next. We voted and I got Class President and Aunt Alice got Vice. Daddy got president for his class too. First day and I was already president. Next was lunch. We all sat at one table and Jake and I ate while everyone else was creeping on how my day went. I was the only sophomore in a lot of my classes, I didn't really mind though. "Everyone is really nice" I say honestly. I didn't want Jake to know just how nice all the boys are to me. I figured some things are better left unsaid. After lunch I went to AP History with Jake and Jasper. Jasper loved this class. He was funny to watch. My AP Calculus teacher, Mr. Byrd asked Jake, Jasper, and I to say something about ourselves. "What's going on, I'm Jacob Black. I like working on cars and being with my family." Jake said bored of introducing himself all day. "Hello. My name is Jasper Hale, I enjoy history and spending time with my family, especially my little sister Renesmee." Jasper said, gesturing to me. "Hiiii, I'm Renesmee. I love helping others and spending time with my family, especially all my siblings." I said, finishing with a dazzling smile. I had even the teacher mesmerized for a second. He snapped out of it and started the lesson, I already knew everything he was teaching so Jake and I passed notes for the period. PE was next. I didn't have to dress today so Rose, Em, Jakey and I all just sat there talking. We had a pretty good first day, until we got to my jeep. There was hundreds of little papers on my car. They all said my name and were followed by a boys name and a ten digit phone number. There had to be over two hundred. Jake took a look and stormed off. "Jake!" I called. He turned around and I could see the hurt and pain. "Yes love?" he said, too emotionless. "I think we need to get home so I can show you that you're the only one for me." I say seductively as I rub his arm with my fingers. His face lit up "Hmmm yes." he said sweetly. "Can you help me throw away these meaningless papers though?" I ask casually. "I would love to Ness!" he said a little too excited. Minus this little mishap, I've had a great first day!
