Jake POV

She wouldn't stop... My heart was breaking... She finally cried herself to sleep, her poor eyes were so puffy. I carried her to our room and set her on the bed. Quil and Embry came back and looked at me with expecting eyes. "She's asleep" I said quietly. Crap. I heard her get up. "Jakeeee" she sobbed. I ran in and cradled her close. She stopped crying and sighed, exhausted. I kissed her pretty face and she half giggled. I carried her out and Embry immediately grabbed her out of my hands. I glared so hard, he couldn't hold eye contact for more than a second. "Can.. I.. Have.. Jake.." she mumbled. I took her back eagerly and she relaxed instantly. I sat on the couch with her on my lap. She was being so quiet. Embry and Quil were trying to talk to her, but she was not having it. Suddenly Edward, Jasper, Alice, Bella, Emmett, Rose, and Esme burst through the door. They rushed to her and took turns kissing her head and cheek and hands. Emmett grabbed her and held her close. He gently gave her back. She snuggled up and yawned pretty wide. Everyone excused themselves so she could sleep. I took her to our room and laid down with her. She cuddled so close to me. I kissed her forehead and she was out. I woke up and she was still asleep. I let her sleep until she woke up 30 minutes later. She smiled and kissed me delicately. I kissed her passionately and she got on top of me. "Babe. I love you." she said in my ear. "I love you more Renesmee" I said sweetly. She smiled and I rolled on top and kissed her little neck. She giggled. I missed her musical laugh. I made love with her for two and a half hours. She was starting to act normal. Finally. "Babe" she said sadly. "What is it love?" I asked intently. "What am I supposed to do about Sophie?" she asked as tears brimmed her eye. "Baby" I coo. "She is an idiot. Honestly babe, just let it go. She isn't worth it." I say honestly. "You know I can't" she said, defeated. "Hell yes you can. You are stunning and smart and can do anything your beautiful heart desires." I say confidently. "Jake" she said annoyed at the compliments. You'd think she would have learned to take them better by now. "Baby" I counter. She sighs and gets up. "Shower?" she questions. I get up and sweep her off her feet. She giggles musically. We take a shower and as soon as we get out, Embry is already calling. No doubt, he wants to see her. "We just got out of the shower. Wait 20 minutes, then come." I inform. "Ewww you guys showered together? Gross man! And okay!" he says back a little freaked out. "We sometimes sleep naked. Kay bye." I joke. I hear him fake vomit and hang up. I laugh and she looks at me sternly. I kiss her and she melts to my touch. "You know. I have no idea what I'd do without you." She tells me sweetly. "I love you Ness. And I cannot even begin to tell you all the ways you've changed my life for the better. You've given me a reason to live. I will never match up to that." I say honestly and sweetly. Everyone says I talk to her nicer than anyone and I think its just because she is my soft spot so to speak. I don't like a lot of people, rarely love and yet here I am, madly in love with this perfect girl. How could I talk to her in any manner other than nice!? She comes back in a beautiful white dress with red wedges. She smiled at my adoring eyes. "I love you" I said sweetly. She smiled in return. I went and put on some white shorts and a red shirt. She giggled as she noticed how I matched her. "You're silly babe" she said through a sweet smile. I just smiled in return and grabbed her waist and pulled her close. I remember when I first had feelings for her in this way, I remember how scared I was that she wouldn't ever look at me like that, all those boys that would stare. She was always mine, at least to me. She startled giggling uncontrollably. No doubt, at my thoughts. "To think I always thought you could only look at me like a little sister. I'm sure you can only imagine my delight" she said like an angel. Well she was an angel. She kissed me lovingly until we heard a knock. "Embry!" she screamed excitedly. She ran and hugged him tight, he hugged her tighter however and cut off her air supply. She gasped and I pryed his hands away from her. She took a deep breath and he looked guilty. Good. She hugged my waist delicately, probably trying to stop the red that was already filling my eyes. It worked. Of course. She was my personal heaven. She smiled victoriously. "You know Ness, that is a pretty special thing. Most imprints won't get close of they think they'll phase. You're drawn to him more when he does. Interesting." Embry said, thinking aloud. "He is there for me so much, this is the only way I can even semi help him, of course I'm drawn to it." she said evenly. "Has it ever not worked?" he asked curiously. "Not yet anyway" she said with a little giggle. I kissed her soft cheek and she tilted her head to me at my touch. "You two are perfect" he said, a little sad. She hugged him sweetly. "Want anything to eat?" she asked motherly. "Who are you talking to Ness? Of course." She giggled and pulled me into the kitchen with her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and lightly kissed her neck and cheek as she made some sandwiches for us. She giggled at each little kiss. I was completely wrapped up in our moment until she gasped and dropped the sandwich she was holding. I must have not been paying attention to Embry's thoughts because as soon as I focused, I understood. My dad had a heart attack... My... Dad... Oh God... Ness turned around and hugged me securely. I kissed her, I needed her. I needed her in the worst way. She caught on and wrapped her little arms around my neck. She broke away and looked at me curiously. "Where" I whispered to Embry, "He is with Carlisle. He is going home today." he said emotionless. "Baby, maybe we should be there when he comes home?" my angel suggested. "That sounds perfect beautiful" I responded as I played with one of her long ringlets nervously. He was okay if he was coming home. Right? Ness dragged me to the hall closet and pulled out a bunch of things. She kissed me sweetly, pulling me out of my stupor. "Sorry. I needed your attention babe" she said apologetically. "Love, it's yours. Don't ever apologize for wanting something that's yours" I said nicely. She smiled. "Time to go greet Billy" she said carefully.
