Facing Fears

Renesmee POV

I woke up to the sound of my Jake slightly snoring. He was so darn cute. I remembered last nights events and felt really guilty... I didn't mean to make it hard on Jakey. I just love him so much that I can get out of line sometimes. I won't guarantee it won't happen again because I am positive it will, but for the next few days, I'll try to keep controlled. I want Jake awake, but I can't get myself to wake him. I get a brilliant idea however. I start to lightly kiss him, he slowly stirs and after about five seconds, caught on. He pulls me close, kissing my cheek down to my neck and back up. He gives me shivers. He opens his eyes "You cold babe? I can fix that." He says a little smug. He makes me laugh. I just scoot closer to him if that was even possible. He smiles at my little gesture. I wonder if he'd.... No. He wouldn't. Well.... We wouldn't do anything.... "Hey babe" I say seriously. "Yes love?" he says tenderly. I look down. "Did you... Want to take a shower?" he stifles a laugh "Do I smell babe?" he asks in between giggles. "One with me" I finished apprehensively. His face dropped. "Daddy is still gone" I added with a wink. He shifted uncomfortably. "But babe.." he started. He slightly smiled. "I won't win this will I?" he said sounding defeated. I kissed him once on the lips and said, "Nope" popping my 'p' like he does. He giggled a little. He picked me up and took me to the bathroom. He rushed into the shower and turned it on. I was getting soaked and my pajamas were sopping wet. I turned the shower off laughing. "Is this what you meant" he teased. "No, this is." I said as I undressed. He stared at me and I went for his clothes. He was very shocked by my boldness.

He washed my hair; he wasn't very good at it, but he was so cute trying. We got out and wrapped towels around ourselves. I brushed my hair and he watched me with loving eyes. The way he looked at me was incredible. I dryed my hair while he went to grab clothes from the guest bedroom we have for him. I finished my hair and went to my closet. I set my sights for some black skinny jeans and a white flowy top, finishing it with some white and black wedges. I put on some jewelry and felt warm arms around my waist.

I turned to look Jake in the eye. "I missed you" he said bending down to kiss me lightly. "I missed you more" I said hugging him tightly. He responded by kissing the top of my head. We stood there for a while until we walked out of the closet and down the stairs hand in hand. Aunt Alice greeted us first, she said goodmorning and planted a swift kiss on my forehead. "I am going shopping" she announced, dragging Uncle Jasper and Nana Esme with her. "Goodmorning Renesmee" my Uncle Jasper said pleasantly as he left. "Morning Uncle" I replied sweetly. "Breakfast is on the table. Love you" Nana Esme called to me. "Thank you Nana. I love you too." I said just as she was leaving. I was suddenly being picked up and swung around. "Monster! I've missed you!" Uncle Em said. I heard Aunt Rose growl and I saw Jake tense up. He sat me down, but I jumped right back up and bear hugged him. "Missed you too Uncle" I said laughing. "Oh so you can bear hug me, but I can't bear hug you?" he said sarcastically. "Yes." Aunt Rose said sharply. I started to giggle and saw Jake relax. Aunt Rose came over to me and swiftly kissed my cheek. "How's my beautiful niece?" She asked with love. "I am wonderful Auntie" I replied hugging her once more. "You're in a good mood this morning" Uncle and Auntie said in unision. They both eyed Jake as I hugged him tight. "I have my family and a guy who loves me, how could I not?" I replied sweetly looking them in the eye. "You are simply adorable" my Aunt said just as sweet. My Uncle smiled approvingly. "Come on Jakey lets go eat" I said casually. "Sounds good honey" he replies. I go and sit on his lap as we eat. As soon as I sat down, his smile was ear to ear, that's my favorite smile he does. We finished breakfast just as mom and dad came in. "I'll take care of those dishes" my mother says maternally as she swipes the now empty plates. "We should talk sweetie" my dad says carefully. "Okay! Can Jake come?" I ask innocently. "I would prefer it" he said with emotion in his voice. He walked us outside into the woods and turned around to face us. "I understand that you two will now be... Together. I cannot say I am excited about this, but as long as your happy, I will never complain. I love you very much Renesmee and I trust you to make me proud." he said with much love. "Awwww! Daddy! I love you too." I say hugging him tightly. Jake is smiling at me and pulled me close after my dad walked away. "I love you Nessie" he murmered in my ear. "I love you too Jakey" I said kissing him. He smiled and grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He broke away and kissed my cheek. "Lets go watch a movie" he said putting his forehead to mine. "Okay. What movie?" I asked as he picked me up. "Hmmm something scary so I can hold you close" he said with a wink. I blushed crimnson. He kissed me softly. "Sorry beautiful, I didn't mean to embarass you" he said appologetically. I just buried my face in his chest. I heard him laugh a little and jog to the house. We walked in and he refused to set me down. I giggled. He walked over to the couch and he sat down with me on his lap. I turned so that I was facing him, he was a lot closer than I expected. He brushed his lips across my jawline as I spoke. "What movie babe?" I asked as a shiver escaped me. "Baby are you cold?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around me. "No. I just love you" I said winking. He kissed my forehead and placed me on the couch gently. I looked at him a little confused. "I'm picking out a movie sweetheart" he said smiling back at me. He chose a scary movie, as promised.

My mom and dad went to our little cottage for "alone time" It was just me and my Jake. Auntie Rose and Uncle Em went "hunting" even though they went yesterday. The movie ended and I was pretty tired. I yawned and snuggled into Jake. "Sleepy?" he asked me softly. "Yes" I half said and half yawned. We both laughed a little. "Come on, let's get you in bed love" he said, kissing my forehead and carrying me to my room. He laid me in bed and crawled next to me. I snuggled up close and fell into a dreamless sleep.
