Jake POV

Morning went as always, morning kisses and cuddles followed by a shower and running off to school. The firsts part of the day flew, class kept me busy. Chemistry was another story. We had a substitute and nothing to do. I was only able to focus on one thing. Game Day. Game Day. Game Day. Damn Renesmee looks good. Okay so maybe two things. Her bronze curls were hanging freely, framing her perfect face as she laughed at something Alice said. Her brilliant teeth were showing like pearls catching the sun at just the right angle. Only three heads turned to see her giggle, the others knew better by now. She turned to me, still smiling, but it altered to an adoring one, adoring me because of my thoughts. I smiled back at her. She half walked, half danced back to our table, still smiling beautifully. She really was the prettiest girl in the world, I was absolutely sure of that. She buried her face a little at my compliments, she hated when I complimented her too much, though she was bound to know the extent of her perfection. I suppose that's one of the countless reasons I love her though, she is completely unaware of her effect on people (namely me). She giggled nervously. "Babe. You're too much." She halfheartedly declared. "You know I can't help it." I said with a wink. She sighed in content and I suddenly wanted to make her sigh in another kind of content. She immediately blushed and started giggling. I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close in response. After I kissed her cheek, I figured I should cut the contact, otherwise it could get messy. She simply gave me a cheeky smile and rubbed my arm soothingly. The period finally ended, it only began to go by semi quickly because Renesmee was giving me so much attention and I couldn't help but soak it up. The rest of the day flew by. Game. Time. I went home with Nessie to give myself something to do before the team met up. She must have sensed my jitters because she came and casually sauntered off of our bed and delicately wrapped her arms around my shoulders and whispered in my ear, "Why so tense?" I couldn't help but give in to the involuntary shiver that ran down my spine by the sheer awareness of her close proximity. I could resist her no longer and turned, picked her up, and carried her to our room. That REALLY helped the time fly because now it was exactly 20 minutes before I needed to be there. We dressed quickly and then piled back into the car with the rest of the family so that we could go and play the game of our lives. I felt pretty confident, I mean realistically speaking, how many teams have a werewolf and 3 vampires. I think we were pretty much a shoe in, but we still didn't want to become overconfident and then make mistakes. I suppose only time will tell now.
