New Friends?

Renesmee POV

The two vampires came in and immediately hugged my mother. "Eric! Mike! Such a pleasure to see you both!" she exclaimed. How did she know them? "Renesmee my dear, these are old friends from high school." She said, gesturing to the two guys. Jake had his arms draped over me protectively. I walked away from the comfort of his hold and shook both their hands. "Hello" I said politely. They stood in awe. "Wow she is prettier than Raphael said" Mike said nicely. I threw a dazzling smile their way. "Much more" Eric said a little shocked. I suddenly felt a warm touch on my back, I relaxed into it and wrapped my arms around Jake. "Eric, Mike, this is my husband Jake" I said sweetly. Disappointment glistened in their eyes. I stifled a giggle. Jake kissed the top of my head as my father spoke, "So what can we help our friends with?" he asked curiously. The curiosity was eating me alive. "Well, we would like to start with we know what happened to Raphael. We are not happy, but we do understand. We have a, dilemma. I am sure Bella and Edward recall Angela and Jessica from high school? Well we are actually married to them, the trouble is we were changed half a year ago in the attempt to start a vampire war, the Volturi stepped in and allowed three newborns to be set free, that would be Raphael, Eric, and myself. We each had a gift I suppose. Raphael was very charming, I can usually persuade anyone to do as I wish, and Eric is able to guess what people will say next, I personally don't think they are much compared to mind reading, future telling, mood controlling, and whatever Renesmee can do with her thoughts, but it spared us our lives." Mike said slightly distracted. "So where am I to help?" I ask slightly confused. "Well, we were unable to stay away from our wives and we sort almost killed them. We love them, but there blood is so mouthwatering." Eric said sadly. "I am still unclear on where I can help?" I ask still confused. "We. Ummm. Well Jessica and Angela know too much. The Volturi is watching us closely, we had a very close call in Australia last week and we heard of your bond with them, maybe you could convince them and that could help save our wives.." Mike said hesitantly. "Why wouldn't you just change them?" I ask uncomfortably. "Well the thirst is just too much..." Eric said sadly. "Plus I am afraid we don't have that much time to wait for us to control our thirst" Mike added. "I see the dilemma" I say sadly. I can't ask the Volturi  to choose my wishes or the law. That is far to unfair. I open my thoughts to my father and he silently agrees. What shall I do? Perhaps Nanu can change them? Maybe they can live in Antarctica for a while. Plenty of polar bears and penguins. He agrees once more. "I may have a solution that you would prefer, of course Nanu must agree first. If my Nanu can change them, we can send you to Antarctica where there are no people and plenty of polar bears and penguins, I assure you this, the Volturi will not bend rules for anyone and they do not offer second chances on a regular basis." I say informatively. Felix and Demetri come running up the stairs! I run and hug them. They kiss and hug me with much love. "We missed you little one" Felix said as he set me down. Demetri picked me up as soon as I touched the floor. "Only because Nessie suggested it, the idea she had will work for the Volturi. Either her idea or death." Felix stated plainly. "That's unfair. What if they don't want this life!?" Eric exclaims angrily. "Would you rather they die? Be happy our little Renesmee suggested it, I would have said no if anyone else aside from if the Volturi suggested it." Demetri said with a lot of sass. "How long do they have to decide?" I ask curiously. "About a minute, Jessica and Angela, come here darlings" Felix said with an evil smile. I'm assuming Angela and Jessica came in. They looked like they had been crying and was very confused. They ran to Mike and Eric. "Choose" Felix said with finality in his voice. "Change them" they said simultaneously. "Not in my family room! I do not want those shrieks permanently tied to this room. Hell no. Take this outside, plus, I don't like blood in my house. I try my best to stay away from it." I say stubbornly. Felix and Demetri laugh and hug me once more. "We missed you very much little one" Demetri said while laughing. I smile victoriously and Jake comes and picks me up. He takes me to our room. "Babe. Why are we in here?" I ask curiously. "I have heard people be changed. You don't need to know that sound" he said grimly. I kiss him delicately. "Always protecting me" I sigh. He smiles and pulls me closer, if that was even possible. "Baby I'm tired" I say suddenly exhausted. Jake lays with me and I fall into a peaceful sleep.

Jake POV

She looks so peaceful when she sleeps. I heard Felix and Demetri come up. I get up and go meet them. "She's asleep" I say plainly. "The mutt did that on purpose" Demetri complained to Felix. "Actually she was tired, but alright" I say irritated. "Jake!" Nessie screams. I run as fast as I can to find Eric and Mike almost at Ness. I phase and push them both back and get in front of her defensively. Felix and Demetri rush in and grab the guys. They fight against the grip, but Felix and Demetri would never let Ness get hurt. That I know. "Sorry" Mike whimpers. "She just smelled so good" Eric adds. "I don't care. You stay the hell away from her. DO I make myself clear?" I boomed. Mike and Eric cower into the hands of their kind. Nessie is grabbing my hand and shaking violently. I pick her up and she stops shaking slightly. "It's okay baby. I got you, I will always be here" I coo. She lays her head on my chest and "I love you Jakey. Don't leave please" is suddenly filling my head. "I love you too beautiful and remember? Your stuck with me forever" I say sweetly. She giggles and I relax substantially. I lay down with her and she kisses my cheek and snuggles into my chest. I kiss her forehead and she is asleep. Poor Ness is constantly dragged through hell and she is able to keep a stunning smile on her face. That will always make me wonder how she is able to do that. "Because I have you" Ness mumbled sleepily. I kissed her pretty face over and over. She giggled. "Babeeeeeeeee" she mumbled. "Sorry, I just love you" I said sweetly. "Love you too honey" she said drowsily. She fell back asleep and I couldn't help but recount the days events. I almost lost the reason I exsist. She is definitely not going out of my sight.
