This part is longer than before and I hope you enjoy it.....

Faye didn't drive me home, instead she drove me around until I asked her to pull over and then we just sat and talked in her car. Well Dans car, he'd ran after us and given her his keys.

"Emily I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen" Faye said sadly

I felt numb. I'd had small fall outs with Ricky in the past but they were tiny ones like falling out over one of us cheating at a game or something equally stupid. Nothing like this.

"It's not your fault, I'm the hoebag who went running round with Luke Wilden" I said softly

I wished I could go back in time and bitch slap myself just as I was agreeing to hang out with Luke. I now knew he was the biggest idiot ever.

"I need to see him" I decided, sitting up straight and quickly putting my seatbelt back on

"Emily I think you need to give Ricky time to cool down, let Dan and Justin talk to him" Faye told me soothingly

She had it all wrong, I was desperate to see Ricky but I knew he didn't want to see me. It was Luke who I now wanted to see, I had to find out what his problem was.

"Take me to see Luke please" I said confidently, I was going to have it out with him

"Are you sure thats a good idea?" Faye asked, biting her lip

I didn't answer, I think the look on my face was enough because she started the car

I directed her to Lukes and she let out a gasp as we pulled up outside his house. I was no longer in awe of his house, instead to me it now looked pretentious and fake - just like Luke.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Faye asked, as I undid my seatbelt

"No I'll be ok" I answered, giving her a weak smile before getting out

Lukes car was in the driveway so I knew he was definately there

I strided up to his house, trying to stay as confident as I'd felt when I'd decided to come here. I pushed the doorbell and took a deep breath, trying to compose myself before he answered the door.

Any boost of confidence I'd felt vanished when Luke opened the door... with his arm wrapped around Melanie Parker.

I'd prepared a mini speech in my head on the way but any memory I had of it had vanished

"Can we help you?" Melanie asked, smiling sarcastically

I stood staring at them trying to grasp what was happening

"I don't understand" I managed to finally say. I knew I sounded pathetic

Melanie and Luke looked at each other and then burst out laughing

"Explain it to her" Luke told Melanie while yawning. He looked like he couldn't even be bothered to waste his time even talking to me

"Your little boy thing Ricky got a bit too big for his boots so Lukey wanted to teach him a lesson. I can't stand you so I was happy to help" Melanie said happily, grinning at me as if she was telling me the best story ever

"But why?" I asked, I couldn't comprehend that someone would go to all this trouble over something so small

I could feel my eyes stinging and a lump in my throat already but I forced myself not to cry

"The pair of you flap around like you're the golden couple or whatever" Melanie said scathingly, "It's sickening. You think you're Miss All That and he thinks he deserves to be offered all these scholarships and that he should be the soccer captain"
