Laci's POV

Once the boys left, I went to my room and grabbed a book.

I smiled as I saw what it read.

'The Death Cure'

I had recently gotten into the the Maze Runner series, and seen the movie.

My friends and I have already planned to see The Scorch Trials in this coming September.

I was about half way through the book when I heard the door open and shut.

"Laci? I'm here." I shut my book and ran down the stairs. I smile as I see Jerome standing there with his bags.

"Jerome."

He turns around and I run to him hugging him. He dropped his stuff and hugged me back.

I let go and he said, "How are you doing?"

"Ehhh, ok? I think you already know what happened." He nods.

"Anyway, how are you?"

"Oh, yes I'm good. I am currently living in Florida at the moment and I've been with my girlfriend more now."

"That's great Jerome! Who are you living with?"

"I am living with Ryan and Mitch."

My smile fades. Mitch.

"Are you okay?"

I smile again, "oh yea. Just fine!"

He gives me a suspicious look, but it stops when he got a call.

"Oh let me take this." He says and walks towards the door that leads to the outside world.

I nod and run back to my room. Grabbing my phone.

When I get it, I immediately go onto Instagram. My followers raised from 1k to 1.5k. I shrugged and decided to take a picture of my book on my bed.
