I smoothed out the ends of my dress as I looked in the mirror. Sighing as arms wrapped around my waist.

"How do I look?"
Derek smiles and kissed my cheek.
"Beautiful, as always."
I smiled as he let go. I grabbed my purse and phone and walked to the kitchen, Derek following shortly after.
"Are you nervous?" He asked. I nodded.
Today I was seeing Mitch for the first time in like 7 months. Derek was skeptical at first, but knew that I wouldn't do any 'funny business' and said it was okay.
"Don't worry, you are only going for ice cream."
"I know." I said.
"So, you will be back in no time, now come on we better leave."
I nod as we walk out the door and into Derek's truck.
He once again, as always, opened my door for me and let me in while he went to his side of the truck.
At the parlor, Derek dropped me off and I went to his side of the car and kissed him.
"I'll see you later, okay?" He said.
I nod and put my arms on the window, it was down.
"Do you have a ride?"
"Yes, I will call someone at the end."
He smiled and I lifted my arms off the window as he rolled it up. As I was about to walk into the parlor, I heard a car horn. I turned my back and saw Derek honking his horn. I waved at him as he started to leave, I walked into the shop.
When I walked in, I saw Mitch sitting at a booth. He didn't notice me, as he was on his phone, so I took the chance to walk to the booth and stand next to the seat.
He didn't look up from his phone, so I coughed.
He looked up and once he saw me, he put his phone down and stood up. He walked towards me and hugged me.
However, it was really awkward.
Once he let go, I sat down opposite of him and we sat down, he started up a conversation.
