Chapter 44

Michelle's POV (ooh never been done before)

I watched as Laci left the room for the door. At first, I shrugged it off, but when it was 5 minutes later and she still hasn't returned, I got worried. So I sat up, without anyone noticing, and walked towards the front entrance.

Laci wasn't there, so I automatically thought she had been outside. But instead of interrupting, being the creep I am, I go to the window and look through it.

I gasped at what I saw.

Laci and Derek kissing.

Oh my god are they together? Are they making up? Do they still hate each other?

Wait no, that last one was stupid, but really! Why are they kissing!?!?

I decided to walk back into the lounge, so I wouldn't intrude. I sat down back in my spot and watched everyone watching as Sparrow and Mark fought in MarioKart.

Laci's POV

I walked back into the house and to the lounge. I found out that Sparrow beat Mark at the game and now he was declaring a 'rematch,' which she took.

I sat down in my spot and watched them play the game.

"So who was at the door?" Michelle asked me.

"Oh, just a guy wanting to know if I wanting something." I lied to her.

"Why would s guy come at 9 PM?"

I shrug. Oh god I hate lying to her, but I can't tell her that Derek and I had made up, she'll tell everyone!

Ugh I'm a horrible person.

That night, the boys left at 11 ish and the girls stayed the night.

Now we have made our way to my room, where their stuff was. We all sat on my bed and talked for a bit.

It was currently 12 ish and I was kind of thirsty.

"Guys I'm going to get a water, do want anything?"

"No thanks."

"I'm fine."

"Sure, I'm come with though." Michelle said and we both jumped off the bed.

In the kitchen, I grabbed a glass of water for Michelle and myself. It was quiet for a moment.

"So h-"

"I saw you and Derek kiss outside!" She blurted out and put her hands to her face.

I almost spit my water out.

"What?!"

She sighed, "I saw you and Derek kiss."

"Michelle!"

"I'm sorry! You were gone for awhile and I wanted to make sure you were okay! I went to window to see if you were outside and BAM I saw you kiss."

I set my glass down.

"I'm sorry." She squeaked out, "Are you mad?"

"No, it's okay Michelle. I'm not angry."

"Oh thank god." She said.

"But I'm nervous."

"About what? You can tell me."

"Well, what if this doesn't work out again? Or what if someone finds out?"

"Well first, if he really wanted you back why wouldn't it? And second, in my opinion, you should tell people because it doesn't help keeping that a secret."

"You're right." I smile at her.

"Oh course I am." She said and flipped her hair, in a joking manner.

"Thanks Ellie." I say and hug her, however it was more like her hugging me as I'm taller than her.

That night we went to bed at 1 AM. My bed could fit 3 people, so myself, Zooey, and Michelle slept there as Sparrow slept on the couch.

I also told them about Derek and myself, they were happy for me, but Sparrow said that if he hurt me again that he 'better watch out.'

Oh I love my friends.
