Laci's POV

I step out of the school's doors and to the black truck that belonged to Derek. I saw him resting against the passenger door as it in towards him.

"Hi!" I yell. He smiles at me and opens the door for me. I gasp.

"Why thank you my kind good sir." I say. He playfully rolls his eyes as I climb into the car.

Once I did, he shut the door and I fastened my seatbelt. He then went to the other side (not now Adele) and got in the car.

"So how was it?"

"Oh, it was difficult, but I'm sure that I did decent on it." I say.

"That's good, oh and by the way, while you were taking your test, Zooey put us in partners so we can go where we have to go."

"Oh okay, so who is my partner?"

He smiles.

"Let me guess, it is you?"

"Yup. So I'm taking you to see you Brother right now so we can go. It is noon and we have to leave at 13:00."

"Okay, so about 15 minutes with my brother. Then we will be going where?" I say.

"Well, I already grabbed put stuff, it is in the trunk right now. So after you talk to him, we will start our way to the airport. There we will get everything needed, then get on the flight to New York, which will be 6 hours and 47 minutes, then we will get a flight to LA, which will be 6 hours and 20 minutes."Derek says. (I looked it up :))

"Ok, so if our flight is at 2 PM, it is really 9 AM in New York. So if it is about a 7 hour flight, we will arrive there at around 6 PM, and then take a flight to LA, whose time is 3 PM, and since that flight is 6 hours, we will arrive at 9 PM." (Oh my god I did that with no help whatsoever, I'm proud my god)

"That is correct." Derek says.

"And you say you are bad at math."

"I said Geometry, not math in general. Oh take a left here."

"Same thing Lac, Same thing." He says chuckling.

"Oh it is right here." I say.

"Alright I will wait here."

"No come in and meet my brother. I'm sure he would like to meet you."

"Ok then." Derek says getting out of the car with me.

"I better warn you though."

"Why?" He asks as we walk to the door.

"He is protective. He will be asking you lots of things." I say. Derek smiles and nods and I open the door.

"Jerooomee!" I say.
