Laci's POV

The rest of the day went by pretty quick. We spent a few hours at the beach and went to a sushi place afterwards. Honestly, it was the best sushi I have ever tasted.

After that, however, we all went back to Harry's to sit back and relax. It was a quiet evening after that.

At around 7 PM, I left the main area and went off to my room. In there, I changed into my pajamas and got in the bed and grabbed my laptop. I also grabbed the TV remote and turned it on. I pressed a few buttons and ended up on MTV. I placed the remote down and opened up my laptop. I then went on tumblr, which was how I spent my night.

I woke up this time to the sun shining down on me. I smile as I lift my head up and stretch. I then pull back the covers that were on me and get up off my bed. I walk over to my balcony door, and open it. I walk out and smell the air of the salty sea, and the sound of seagulls as they hover over the sand. I smile as I breathe in the air. I go out a bit further and rest my arms on the fence. I look out into the blue, sparkly, ocean when something startled me.

"Beautiful, isn't it." I look behind me and see Derek. I smile and reply.

"Very." I hear his footsteps come closer.

"Like you." He says.

"That was very cheesy, I know you know that." I say blushing and turning the other way.

"I know, that is why I said it." He said chuckling.

"So why are you here?"

"Oh, I wanted to tell you that the girls are taking you out for you to have a girls day."

"Oh god no, please don't let them take me." I say, pleading.

"I don't know Laci, I think they are already coming." Derek says. I groan and put my head on my arms as he laughs.

"Just get over with it, later will be great. I promise."

"Fine." I say dragging out the e. I walk back into my room, with Derek following, and to my bag to find some clothes.

"I am just going to go, have fun today!" I heard.

"Ha ha." I say and then the door shut. I then grab my clothes for the day. Which consisted of, a pair of shorts, a shirt that was blue and had the words 'beach hair, don't care' written on it, and my black converse. I walk to the bathroom and take my hair out of the bun and into the waves it is usually in. I ruffle it out a bit, and then I do my makeup.

After I did my makeup, I grabbed my purse, sunglasses, and my phone. I walk out of my bedroom and downstairs, where the girls were.

"Are you ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." I say.

"Good, now let's go!"

*3 HOURS LATER*

After going shopping for 3 hours, it left me with 2 hours until my date tonight. I was told by the girls to dress casual, so that is what we did for the past few hours. Now, we were on our way to the nearest Starbucks to grab a drink.

When we got there, I ordered a Passion Tea with Lemonade. Once we all ordered and got our drinks, we left and started our way back to the house.

"So, Laci, are you excited for your date?"

"Zooey! Stop saying it is a date. We are just hanging out with each other!"

"So a date?"

"Sparrow!" The girls giggled as I groaned.

"Come on Laci, loosen up. You are going to have fun tonight."

"Yea. Laci, I am so happy that you are breaking your shell and actually going on a date for once."

"Sparrow!"

"What?"

"Can I just be left alone, please?"

"Sure. Oh but we are doing your makeup."

"No, you won't be needed for this. I can do it on my own."

"But Laci?"

"You guys took me shopping for the past few hours, just let me do something on my own for once guys! I do love you guys, a lot, but I want to be able to do something on my own." I said. Zooey huffed.

"Fine."

"Thank you! Now, lets talk about OTHER things." I say.

"Okay."

"So did you hear this ship name?

"Which one?"

"Derci."

"ZOOEY!"

It was about 10 minutes until I was supposed to go out with Derek. I was just finishing putting my hair into a fishtail braid. I had done my makeup and put on my outfit already. My outfit was a pair of light-washed shorts, a tank top with a crop top over it. On the crop top was the Eiffel Tower. I also finished my outfit with black converse.

Once I finished with the braid, I grabbed my purse and phone. Once I grabbed my phone, I checked the time.

4:57

That would be 3 minutes until I was supposed to be ready. So what did I do? Nothing. Honestly. I just sat there playing on my phone, until I heard a knocking on my door.

That was when I turned off my phone, and walked to the door. I opened it and smiled.

"Hey Derek."
