Laci's POV

"Ooh, who was that?" Zooey asked. I gave her a look.

"Who?"

"The guy you were talking to at the counter."

"Oh that's Brett." I say. Zooey wiggles her eyebrows.

"Oh my god guys. I just broke up with my boyfriend okay?" I said.

"Well you did spend the night at some guys house." Sparrow said.

"Well I wouldn't have if SOMEBODY didn't drink too much." I say looking at Zooey. She shrivels down in her chair.

"Anyway, let's get off of this topic and on to another one." Emily said. We all agreed. They all then started talking about what they were going to do at the end of the school year.

Getting bored, I looked down at my cup and saw a bunch of numbers. I look at it closely and saw a phone number. I slightly smile and then grab my phone. I type the number in and was about to text him when Zooey interrupted me.

"Oh my god guys! I have an amazing idea!" I look up.

"What if after school ends in a month, we all go on a trip together." She says.

"I'll ask my parents, I'm sure they will be okay with it."Emily says.

"I'm in for it, my parents don't care about what I do." Sparrow says.

"What about you Laci?

"Uhm, well I don't know. It would take a lot of convincing for Niall. And maybe a bit for Jerome." I say.

"Well we can defiantly do that. But we should ask the others if they would come." Zooey asks.

"I'll text the girls now." Sparrow says.

"I'll text Dash, is there anyone you would like to text....Laci?" Zooey says. Giving me that same look that I should invite Derek.

"Not at the moment, no." I say, smirking back at her. She playfully rolls her eyes and texts in her phone. I then grab my phone and finally text Brett.

To: Brett

Hey, this is Laci

I text him. A few minutes back, I heard my phone 'ping.'

From: Brett

Hey

To: Brett

What's up?

Oh god that sounded awful.

From: Brett

Working, wbu?

To: Brett

Sitting with my friends who a evening overly annoying

From: Brett

"Laci, are you coming?" I look up and see they are grabbing all of their stuff and are about to leave.

"Oh yea, sorry." I say grabbing my stuff and my phone. I threw my drink away and walked with the girls to the car. In the car, I sat in the back this time.

'Ping'

I look down at my phone.

From: Brett

Would you like to hang out sometime?

To: Brett

Sure, how does next Friday sound?

From: Brett

Good I'll pick you up at 5

To: Brett

See you then

I say and shut down my phone. I look out the window and then back to the girls, who were talking about where to go for the end of the summer.

"We could go to Brighton and stay there for a week." Zooey said.

"No, how about somewhere like Australia." Sparrow said.

"Somewhere closer please." Emily said.

They all kept arguing on where to go, until I interrupted.

"How about LA? I used to live in California and my brothers have been there so many times?"

"But isn't that where your dad is right now?" Zooey asks.

"No, he was sent to another country this past month." I say.

"I don't know about that, it seems unlikely."

"Just think about it. Two weeks. In a place where you guys have never been before. At my brothers place there with all of our friends at the end of summer?" I say.

They all then start nodding.

"That sounds perfect!" Zooey says.

"So then it is set, girls we will go to LA if you guys can come!" Sparrow says.

But I'm busy these next few days

And it is thanksgiving this week and all

But first I SAW MOCKINGJAY P 2 YESTERDAY AND IM UPSET STILL

if you want to see I say you should because it is amazing but also heartbreaking

Sadly it is the last movie in the series as well

And I finished the book yesterday too

But defiantly should see it

ALSO I RECOMMEND SCORCH TRIALS AND MAZE RUNNER
