calum hood.
"Calum! Are you even listening?" Luke shouted from the stage. We are about to practice for the upcoming competition and I swear, I was on a dead track.
Ever since that argument started, people will always stare at us and gossip about what happened. That lasted for three weeks. And those weeks were the worst days me and my best friends could ever have.
I darted my eyes at Luke who's standing in the stage, stressed and his hair was sticking all over the place. I placed a small smile in my face and shifted myself in my seat, ready to really listen to him. "Sorry. Go on."
Luke sighed and continued the talking in front. He was about to say something again when the door was slammed shut.
All of our eyes went to face it and my eyes widened with what I saw.
Clarice Anderson.
She walked with poise in her system and sat beside Michael, who was not able to respond when she asked him if no one sits beside him.
"What?" She blurted out and Luke's eyes was about to drop when she saw her.
All the four of us knows what we caused her. It was pure pain. She wants to stay strong, and she was doing her best. All of a sudden, silence was engulfed in the room and Luke cleared his throat and started the talking again.
In the middle of the talk, Ashton nudged me softly when everything was getting awkward. "Are you staring?" He asked.
"No! What the fuck, Ashton? Maybe you're the one staring?" I said, bitterly.
Ashton laughed a bit. "You really are staring."
"No, I'm not!"
"Yes, you are."
"No!"
"Yes."
"No!"
"Yes!"
"Fucking hell."
Ashton cracked up and his laugh was echoing the room. He placed his hands in his mouth to cover it. He lowered his head and just stared at the floor.
"Clarice, why are you here?" Michael suddenly asked as we all packed up are things, getting ready to leave.
She scoffed. "Oh, so you don't need me anymore? Well, fine. I remembered one time I auditioned in this club and I passed. I didn't know that I was kicked out." After she said those words, Ashton butted in.
"Why are you mad at us?" He said, with pure anger in his tone.
"Mad? At you?" She stood up and crossed her arms. "As far as I can remember, you guys started this shit."
Luke went down and faced Clarice. "Don't act like your tough." He told her. My eyes went wide and Clarice looked at Luke from head to toe.
She backed up a bit and stared at us. "I'm not tough. You are all fuckers. You made this deal, when all of you knows that I came from a goddamn heartache and you all knew my story. So, what? I won't act tough and cry all day in my room begging for you to come to me and apologize? Well, news flash! I'm not a retard and I can't even forgive you for what shit you had caused!" She shouted at us, with tears forming in her eyes.
With that, she walked through the door and closed the door.
"Shit." Ashton said.
I looked at them and lowered my head down.
"What, Calum? You'll just act innocent there in a corner when you caused all this trouble?" Luke blurted out.
Michael joined in. "Yeah. In the first place, you caused this. Jesus, Calum! Don't fucking put us in a situation you made by yourself!" He shouted.
Ashton looked at me and he walked away.
Luke did the same. It's now me and my best bud.
"I fucking hate you, Calum. Do this by yourself."
And then, he was gone.
My friends are gone. And the one I love hates me more than anything. How dare I do this?
"Fuck you, Calum Hood. Just, fuck you."
And with that, I broke into tears.
