luke hemmings.

She's here.

She came.

I can't stop crying because of what happened. My girlfriend, Angel, broke up with me. I just thought, maybe crying will help. But, no. It didn't.

But, Clarice is here now, and I'm thankful for her.

A knock on the door startled me as soon as I heared my mum talking to her. "Luke. It's me Clarice." I got up from my bed and opened the door softly, letting her in. I just hope she doesn't notice how messy my room is.

She closed the door lightly and followed me towards the bed, sitting at the edge and the tears just came down in my eyes again. I bit my lower lip to stop it from falling, but in all of my attempts it didn't. Clarice sat down beside me after she placed something from my study table. I hugged myself and suddenly her small, warm hands were soothing my back. "Hey. Why are you crying?" She asked me. I didn't respond. Instead, I hugged her for dear life and depended my body to her. She hugged me back, still rubbing my back and with that, I stopped crying.

I didn't pull away. She breathed and spoke again. "Luke? Why are you crying?" She asked for the second time. I gently pulled away. I faced her, not seeing her clearly because of the tears that were left in the corner of my eye.

"Please don't leave me."

She hugged me back. I can feel her crying too because I can hear her sobs. In return, I rubbed her back because I don't want her hurt. Not a single bone or anything. I just care about Clarice so much. She's like a sister to me.

She pulled away, wiping the tears in her eyes. "I hate you so much. Why did you say that? I hate it." She said. I laughed at her cuteness and just gave her a sad smile.

"I know. I just don't want you to leave."

"I won't. And I will never."

Clarice stood up from her seat, and turned to face my study table. She grabbed something and handed it to me. "Here, I bought you this." She smiled and handed me a cup of coffee. I mouthed her a "thank you". This time, with a smile on my face. A real one.

I didn't noticed that there was a note in the cup. I turned it around and read it.

Don't be sad. The world is a cruel place but crack up a smile and everything's going to be okay. :)

"I didn't know that Starbucks will definitely give advice to me. They're so sweet." I laughed lightly. Clarice snorted from her seat, taking a small sip of her own. I noticed that she had no note on her cup.

"Why don't you have note?" I asked her. She just laughed at me. "I wrote that, shithead. Starbucks will never have that kind of plan. Plus, I had a hard time thinking about the words to put there. I just don't want you sad, that's all." She perfectly said and it just made me smile right then and there.

"You know? Someone's lucky if they got you."

I just wish it was you, Clarice.

I shook my head and processed what Clarice just said. "Oh. Uhh, well, thank you. But, I don't want another girl. It's hard to move on from the past." I said, with a blank expression in my face. She cringed from her seat and looked up to me with a sad smile.

"You had a girlfriend?"

"No."

"Luke, don't lie."

"I said. I don't have."

"I'll tell your mu-"

"Okay, okay! I had one but we broke up just an hour ago."
