they walked side by side down the almost empty storybrooke streets. everyone knew who they were, but more importantly they knew about strong bond holding their friendship together. if one wasn't beside another, suspicion grew amongst their peers. most of the time it was nothing, but in those mere arguments that caused the pair's separations they would grow to realize they could not live apart.
the girl and the boy shared one thing in their relationship: love. the boy loved the girl like she was a part of his family, but the girl loved the boy in a different way. she admired him; she thought that there was a chance that they could grow old together, get married, have kids.
the boy was not aware of the girl's interest in him. because of this, the boy would sometimes come to question the girl's actions. nevertheless, he still would be comfortable around her.
those two, they were something different.
