Homecoming 2015 has, in all honesty, been extremely boring. It is actually my first time here, because my friends dragged me along. Literally. But where were they now? Probably fucking some guy they just met.... Or by the refreshments.

I sat on the bleachers just outside of the dance floor. I watched as girlfriends grinded on there boyfriends, and the people outside the middle just dancing with their groups of friends. Sure, I wasn't the only one sitting on the bleachers, but I felt as though everyone was judging just me.

After a few more minutes of being alone, I got up and started to walk out of the gym to go home. No one would care I'm gone, honestly. They all went off to have fun, and left me to rot. I was about to walk out the door, when someone grabbed my arm. I turned to look at the person who stopped me, and was met with a short guy, with reddish blonde hair, and blue-green eyes. It was the school's top musician and nerd, Patrick Stump.

"Your not gonna leave without a dance, are you?" He asked me with a grin on his face. I shook my head and sighed, walking back inside the school.

"If you can show me a good time, I'll stay."

Patrick chuckled and pulled my back towards the gym. Once inside, he brought me to a fairly secluded corner, and slowly started to dance. I watched him for a few seconds and decided to join him, making small talk every now and again. I guess this can't get any worse.

After a few faster paced songs, the DJ put on a slow song. I stopped dancing, and took a look at Patrick. He moved closer to me, and snaked his arms around my waist and looked into my eyes. Thank god for barely any lighting in this place.

I got lost in his eyes after awhile, the rhythm of our dance in sync with the song. At this moment, I couldn't care less about my friends. My night was made by the man in front of me. And right when I thought that, I heard my friends calling my name. I started to turn around, but Patrick's hand moved my head back facing him.

"Don't you dare look back... Just keep your eyes on me." He softly spoke, just loud enough for me to hear him. I grinned and nodded my head, slowly putting my head on his shoulder. "You're holding back, Y/N." He whispered into my ear, moving my body back and forth.

I chuckled, picked up my head and looked him straight into the eyes. My eyes darted from his eyes to his plump lips. The corners of his mouth curled up, and he slowly leaned in, connecting our lips together. I pulled away soon after, and put my head against his.

"Shut up, and dance with me." I whispered to him. Patrick giggled, bringing my body closer to his.

I could hear my friends shouting stuff at us, but I didn't care. I was happy for the first time tonight, and I didn't want it to be toned by them dragging me away from the guy who made it so. Even if we haven't been together, and known each other long, I still really enjoyed his company. This man is my destiny.
