As you opened both the window and the screen for your window, you grabbed all of the necessities for sneaking out. Seeing as how you've done this before, you had a way to climb out and down from your window and close the screen once you're on the ground.

You sat on your window sill, looking down at the ground feet below you. Grabbing the rope that would lower you down, you swung both your legs out and slowly started to lower yourself down. Right when you started escaping, your mother barged into your room.

"Y/N, I need you to-" Your eyes widened as you looked up to meet her gaze. "What the HELL do you think your doing? Get back in here right now!" She yelled, making her way to your window. You quickened your descent down as your mother kept yelling. "If you don't come back in this house, you're grounded!" Your feet touched the ground and glared up at her. Her yelling hasn't ceased.

"Can you really not see you're breaking your own child? While I'm away, be my guest to look up the symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and any other mental illness I could have." You smiled at your mom and took off in a sprint. You didn't know where you were  going. As long as the place bad room for one more troubled soul, you'd be happy.

After around 10 minutes of running, you wound up at a local restaurant you and your friends always hang out at. Taking out your phone, you texted Patrick two simple words.

3:45 pm - You: I ran.
