Devin’s P.O.V.
“Bye honey bunny. See you on Monday! I’ll miss you.” Emily’s annoying, high-pitched voice rang in my ears.
“See you Monday.” I said fake trying to sound happy.
“I love you baby.” She cooed.
“Yea. You too.” I said bored.
“Say you love me!” She whined.
“I love you.” I said through gritted teeth.
“Aww I know. Just wait until we graduate. We can get married that summer. Oh I’ve always wanted to have a summer wedding by the beach. Doesn’t that sound amazing?” She asked.
“Yea, anything you want.” I said trying not to sound like I was in pain.
“Awww thanks sweetie.” She replied to me. “I have to go now. Bye.” She said.
“Bye.” I said before hanging up. Gosh that girl is going to be the death of me. I swear. I let out an aggravated groan before throwing the phone on the bed. I heard a bunch of girly squeals. I go downstairs to see Danielle hugging Jess and Mel. Jess and Mel are leaving for the weekend for some fashion program school trip thing. I have no clue what it is; all I know is that Danielle and I are going to be home alone for the whole weekend. That’s bad. Really bad. I don’t know if I’ll be able to control myself around her. Especially when no one is around. Oh the things we could do. I would kill the just be able to cuddle her, or kiss her, or hug her, or be with her in anyway shape or form. I just want her. She’s perfect.
“Devin are you ok?” Danielle asked walking up the stairs. I realized I’d been standing there for a while.
“Yea.” I said putting a smile on my lips, which wasn’t hard when looking at her. “I’m fine.” I continued.
“Ok. So I guess it’s just you and me now.” I said giving me a genuine smile.
“Yea. I guess it is.” I replied staring into her eyes.
“But, you said I should probably stay away from you.” She said teasingly before walking by me.
“I didn’t mean it like that.” I said grabbing her waist and pulling her towards me.
“Then what’d you mean it like?” She asked with a teasing glint in her eyes.
“Never mind.” I said shaking my head.
“Hmm. And to think, we were actually getting somewhere.” She said sliding her finger down my chest before poking my nose. She walked up the stairs before looking back at me.
“If you change your mind, you know where to find me.” She said before walking into her room. Oh she’s such a tease. She is danger. I can’t let my emotions or desires get the better of me. I can’t. I walked back into my room and decided to play some video games. That’ll take my mind off of Danielle. Right. Yea. Shooting people! Killing things. Watching shit explode. This is working, surprisingly. It’s the first time ever that I’m choosing video games over a girl, but it’s for the best. Suddenly I heard a splash. Oh that can’t be good. I walked to my window and looked outside. Of course. What was I supposed to expect? None other that Danielle in a bikini, my favorite bikini on her to be exact, swimming. I guess she could feel me looking at her because her head turned my way and her eyes locked with mine. She waved. I waved back. She motioned for me to join her. I shook my head. She shrugged and went back to swimming. Ok. It’s ok. You’ll be ok. Just blow some more shit up and you’ll be ok. I paced around my room before sitting back on my bed and playing video games. I kept sneaking a peak outside every once in a while to see what Danielle was doing. Every time I looked I decided it wasn’t a very good idea so I looked away almost as fast as I looked at her. I swear if I keep doing that I’m going to get whiplash. I walked downstairs to get something to eat and there she was in all her glory, standing in the middle of the kitchen. She heard me entering. When her eyes met mine a soft smile played on her lips.
