Part 2- The red room

Natasha's POV

I opened my eyes again and realised that I had to fix myself. I needed to stop being such a helpless little girl. It was so easy though, when Steve was there to hold me. I felt more safe in his arms then I had ever felt with anyone before. Was this love? I wasn't sure. But I couldn't do this, not now. I slowly tried to move and pushed away Steve's arms without being to obvious. His warm hands left my body and soon I felt cold again. He looked at me with a worried face.
"Nat, are you okey?" He said carefully, not wanting to press me.
"I'm fine." I said, looking at him. He knew that it was a lie. "Really." I added and he nod.

Steve's POV

We kept searching around in the house. I gave Natasha a worried glare now and then, mostly when she wasn't looking. I followed her down a creaking stairwell. She knew her way around, that was pretty clear. We came into a huge, red room. Weapons hung all over the walls and in the middle of the room stood a bed. The bed wasn't really a bed though. More like a cold, hospital table and ropes and wires were hanging down from it.
I looked at Natasha. Her body was tense. She looked scared.
"This is where I was trained." She said quite. She walked around searching through the room.
I didn't really know what to say to comfort her. I didn't know her that well. I just kept standing there, my eyes looking around in the room.

Natasha's POV

"Are you just going to stand there or are you going to help me figure out what Fury wants us to find?" I asked, getting my confidence back.
"Yes, of course!" He said nervously.
We went out of the house and looking at the other two before I realised something was wrong. It was only supposed to be two houses. I clearly remember that. One house for training and torture. One house for sleeping.
"Rogers, I know where to go, follow my lead!" I said giving him a smile. Happy to accomplish something on this mission. Steve followed right behind me as I opened the door to the house.
"Why is it open?" Steve mumbled. "Romanoff, this doesn't feel right." He said lowering his eyebrows.
"Fury gave us this misson, I'm sure it's just fine." I said and went inside the building. We came into a long hallway and started walking forward. The lights turned one as we enter deeper into the room.
Steve walked towards a bench in the middle of the room. Before I could react he screamed:
"It's a trick!" He ran to me and lifted me up putting us behind a huge wall across the room.

Steve's POV

I protected Natasha and myself with my shield. The bomb went of. I could feel Natasha getting closer to me holding her arms around my waist. I used all my powers to keep the shield up while the roof was falling on top of us. It was over after a while and I pulled us out from underneath the rocks. Natasha was unconscious. I put her in my arms, carrying her bridal style while I tried to find a safe way out of the building.
