Chapter 14

Joshuas POV

"It means I like the movie. That everybody wants someone to love them for them unconditionally. To come and make them realize what they are really worth." I steps closer and place my palm on her cheek. "It means that someone can let you see the light regardless of how long you have been dwelling in  the darkness. I starts to move in close, I could could tell that she I confuse and dont know what is happening. I stop, hovering over her lips they are a pale shade of pink, then I look back up into her eyes and start to move again she just take ofd running. I could hear her bedroom door slam shut. A chuckle escape my lips "poor thing "

I was now sitting in my office trying to complete some paperwork, but my mind wouldn't allow it. I keep going back to what happened tonight in the kitchen. "Why did she run" I lean back in my chair " is she that afraid of any contact whit the opposite sex?" I place my hands behind my head. " why does she refuse on letting me in, its not like I will bite, well not on the first date that is" a smile appear on my face.

She is beautiful her eyes scream 'light', her pale lips are slightly full. I like the way her lower lip pokes out involuntarily. I was never one to be fussy about a person's skin tone but I have notice how her skin glows in a beep caramel colour. Her hair seems soft and curly, I wonder what it will feel like to run my fingers through her hair or bury my face in it. She may not be as small as the previous ladies that I have been with but her body is perfectly proportion. with her being 5 feet 4 inches she would fit perfectly in my arms.

"Yes she sure will" I said audible "its never been this difficult before on getting what I want, this just means that she will be worth it all" I hear my cell phone vibrating on the desk. "Hello" I answer

"Mr. O'Connor remember your meeting tomorrow at 10 with Mr. Stewart" I hear Breanna  say on the other end getting annoyed by her now

"Yes Breanna I remembered, you don't need to be calling me so late in the night to remind me" I say to her

"I know but, I just wanted to hear your voice"

She could be a little annoying at times. "I'm not in the mood right now Breanna"

"Would you like me to come over and  put you in the mood"  She just don't know when to quit.

"No thank you"

"Is someone else ther...."  Before she could finish I hang up the phone. "too clingy" I say throwing the phone on the desk. As much as I would love for her to come by and ease my frustration, for some reason I wasn't into it right now. Well not with her that is, she is attractive and all but Samantha has my mind looking in a different direction. I know I shouldn't let Samantha have such a hold on me. But she does.

I need to focus on my true goal and not let her distract me from it. I should probably go get some rest for my meeting tomorrow. Father is depending on me and I need to show him that I am more than capable to take over the family business and run this company .

So this chapter is a little short but have no fear cause a next chapter is on its way.
