Fragile scales (Aquariumstuck Erisol!)

Deeply Flushed Part 8

Eridan opened his sleepy eyes sitting up in the tub. He looked over to see Sollux slumped over,leaning on the wall next to them. His light snores made the seadweller blush deeply as he stared at the sleeping boy. Eridan quietly turned over on his stomache,resting his arms on the edge of the tub as he gazed sweetly up at Sollux. Violet covering his cheeks. Sollux began muttering in his sleep causing Eridan to freeze,he listened closely to make out his words. "Eriidan...." He whispered in his sleep. Eridan carefully lifted himself onto the side of the tub to listen once more when Sollux imediatly wrapped his arms around his torso,trapping him. Just as Eridan was to protest he felt Sollux nuzzle his face into  his chest and squeeze a bit tighter than before. Eridan had no choice but give into the cuddles and hugged back slightly drenching Sol's white lab coat. He felt his heart began to beat a million miles an hour as his face heated up,he felt butterflies in his stomache and warm feeling in his chest arose from deep within his heart. He felt as if he were floating. He gently kissed Sol's head and proceeded to cuddle him.

Sollux,being an *sshole,woke up frantically flailing his arms knocking Eridan back into the tub hitting the back of his head on the bottom. Cold water splashing everywhere,completely soaking Sollux from head to toe. Eridan sat up rubbing the back of his head,tears of pain threatening to slip from his eyes. "Oww." Sollux noticed his pained look. "Oh je2u2,ED,are you ok? You aren't bleediing,are you?"
Eridan removed his hand from the injured spot on his head that was sure to turn into a bruise,he didn't see any sign of blood whatsoever. "No,no,I think I'm fine." Sollux began cursing at himself as he inspected Eridan's body for any other possible injuries. He let out a sigh of relief when he found that the one on his head was the only one. "Do you need 2ome paiin kiiler2?" Eridan shook his head. "I'm fine Sol." Eridan sat calmly in the tub lightly running a hand over the healing scales that had been cut off by those men. Sollux let him be,coming back later with good news. "Hey ED." "Yeah Sol?" Sollux set down his clipboard. "KN 2ay2 that you'll be able two move back iinto your tank today." Eridan froze as flashbacks from the night the men had attacked him flooded his mind. He snapped back into reality becoming a stuttering mess. "Th-thats g-great So-Sol." Adding a small chuckle at the end of his sentence. He kept a smile on his lips, though honestly,he wasn't very exited to be back in his tank.

After filling his new tank with water and some new coral,they placed him inside.
"We'll Be Moving Feferi Over Here Again Soon." Kanaya reassured him. Eridan sunk to the bottom of his new tank,softly plopping down into the sand. He could only imagine the loom on Fef's face when she'll see him tomorrow. Though all he could do now was imagine. He hoped Sollux would have stayed over by his tank to keep him company,but instead he and Karkat went out to watch fifty first dates,even though the two had seen it over a hundred times. The thought of Sollux liking Karkat in more than a friend way crossed his mind. Even if so,he'd fight to the death for Sollux for he was deeply flushed for him. Then again,their both different species, how was this whole dating thing gonna work out?  His thoughts began to tire him,he decided it was best to brush it off for now and take a nap.

Waking hours later to a cracking sound in the coral. He looked up as he watched  Equiu's head emerge from the coral and pull back in draining the water from his tank,sucking it down along with him. He ended up in the large pipe system of the aquarium, each pipe leading to a certain tank. He just needed to find Feferi's.
After a while of being chased by different creatures in the aquarium, he nervously traveled down the last pipe. Thanking his stars,it lead him right to Feferi's tank. It was rather larger than her first one,and to his luck all the coral in her tank was the exact same color as her tail,he's got some looking to do. What seemed like hours later was actually ten minutes later,he found her asleep in the sand,curled up in a fetal position. He swam around her tank exploring more and more of it until he heard a high pitched yawn. He looked to find her awake,he snuck up behind her tickling her sides. Once she calmed down she froze,staring blankly at him. Just as he was about to speak she glomped him in a hug nearly knocking the breath out of him. He hugged back running his fingers through the long mass of black curls she possessed. He nuzzles her face into his chest,cuddling up to him until they both fell into  a light slumber.
