Fragile scales (Aquariumstuck Erisol!)

Im just tired. Part 5

Eridan once again burried the fish in the sand and swam around in his tank.
Not long after doing so he felt more exhausted than usual, he layed down in the sand only to be disturbed by the one girl who annoyed him the most at the moment. ")(-Ey -Erifis)(?" He sighed and swam behind his coral. "-Erifis)(? W)(ats wrong?" "Please just leavve me alone right noww Fef." Feferi tilted her head towards the ground. Suddenly something popped up in her mind. 'He must miss Sollux!' She blushed at the thought of Sollux. "Awwwwww,you miss Solfis)(,you miss Solfis)(!" She chanted trying to get the attention of her grumpy morail. "Fef,I'm tryin' to sleep." He answered roughly scowling at her. She stopped seeing he was extremely angry with her,he couldn't hide it,not from her,she could see the flames in his eyes burning into her own. "-Erifis)(,pl-Eas-E com-E out." He sighed and came out from behind the coral. He couldn't help but think of how Sollux would feel if he was being mean to Feferi,he'd probably yell at him for being stupid.
"-Erifis)(,ar-E you sur-E -Ev-Eryt)(ings ok?" He forced a smile onto his face and looked at her.
"Yeah,I'm just tired."

His feelings for Sollux started breaking him,mentally and physicaly, he was awfully confused as why it was taking such a toll on him. It felt as if it were literally killing him. He just couldn't stand not being with him.
It showed in his eyes,his tone of voice,his every movement. Only Feferi noticed,and Kanaya was starting to catch on to the situation. He stopped sleeping and avoided contact with everyone.
However,no matter what,he kept a smile on his face. His voice cracked often,dark circles appeared under his eyes. How long could he keep this up? How long would he last? When will this hell end? Will he be forced to suffer and watch his flush love someone else? Or will he die? Whether it be sickness or heart break,he wanted to fall asleep and never wake up again. He'd be better off dead,he honestly would rather be rotting six feet under ground then have to spend his life alone behind clear glass as he watched the world move along without him. Sollux would be back tomorrow. He was told his trip was cut short.

He sat in the sand only to be disturbed by a loud bang on the glass. He looked up and only saw the darkness of the room. Who dares try and wake him from his peaceful slumber. He heard whispers and another bang on the glass,had he finally gone insane? Well that took long enough. To be honest the only thing he hated about this room was that you couldn't see anything if the lights were off. Not even the slightest bit of an outline of the objects in it. It frustrated him. Another loud bang and the glass cracked slightly. This startled him he swam to hide behind his coral when the glass broke completely sending the water flowing out taking him with it. He layed on the wet tile the glass below him cutting and scarring his tail and arms,he coughed weazing terribly,he tried to get up only to fall down again after feeling the horrifying sting of the large cut on his hand. He felt hands grab him as alarms went off all around the Aquarium. He heard loud yelling.
"Hurry! Get the knife!" Knife? Knife!? He struggled against the harsh grips on his shoulders,grunting and wining. "He's squirming to much!" "Just do your best! At least get a few scales!" His scales? Of course.
If anyone knew anything about mertrolls is that their scales costed millions of dollars because of the healing factors in them. His thoughts were cut off by an awful pain in his tail as the knife cut deeper slicing several scales off. He was dropped to the ground,the glass beneath him creating more cuts as blood mixed with water."Let's get out of here!"
One voice screamed. The sound of footsteps soon faded. The loud ear piercing sound of the doors slamming open echoed throughout the room. Terezi stood in the doorway,phone in hand she called for help.
