Sollux woke up the next morning with adrenaline running through his veins. Hurrying down to the Aquarium he ran inside receiving a greeting from Kanaya and Karkat. "Hii guy2." He waved as he strode over to Eridan's shared tank. "ED?" He walked around the tank searching for his lover. "ED?" Only he ran into a much undisirable presence. "Who is ED?" A deep sultry voice rang from behind him. "Oh 2h*t." "Look at me when I'm talking to you peasant!" 'The f*ck ii2 he calliin' pea2ant.'
Sollux turned around to be faced with Eridan's father looming over him. "What do you want." This was not a question but a demand. "II-II wa2 lookiing for Eriidan." He said trying to stand his ground. "For what purpose have you called upon my boy?" Sollux struggled with his words. "I'm-he'2 my...um...my mate2priit a2 you would put iit." Dualscar's eyes widened with shock and anger. "Say that again boy." "He2 my mate2priit." He said strongly only to receive a hateful glare from the elder mertroll. "ERIDAN! BOY WHERE ARE YOU!" Eridan swam slowly still half awake and rubbing his eyes. Dualscar snatched him up by the wrist digging his sharp nails into the poor mertrolls skin. "Oww! Dad!" He whined clawing at his fathers hand that gripped his wrist."Is this peasant your mate?!" He yelled referring to Sollux who stood very much afraid of Dual's wrath. Eridan was now very much awake and staring wide eyed at Sollux. "B-But...Sol......you didn't." "Oh yes he did!" He flung Eridan into the glass causing him to yelp in pain. "How could you?" His father stared down at him,a clear look of disgust and anger on his face and with all, dissapointment. "Unless this changes by the end of three days...you are no longer my son,I will not allow you to have a romantic relationship with a human!" He spit out the word like acid.
