Chapter 12 A New Friend

Vriska went through a night of hell (serves her right). Eventually the bleeding stopped,Eridan's blood loss kept him tired and woozy. Constantly babbling,and getting easily distracted was another price that came with it. He didn't get any sleep at all,rendering him delirious.

Sollux stood in front of Eridan & Vriska's tank,neither of the creatures were in sight.
Eridan emerged from behind the coral,eyes half open and humming.
"Heeeeeeeey Sol *snicker* I thought............I thought of something." He said giving Sollux a dopey smile. "WWe should run a THEATER!" He shouted. "ED? Are you ok?"
"WWait! No no no no no no no no,A MAGIC SHOWW!"
"A what?" "A MAGIC SHOWW!"
"I'll be your assistant,don't......don't wworry Sol,I got it." "Dear God,what happened two you?" "WWhatz that supposed to mean?" Kanaya came up behind Sollux. "We've Stitched Up And Cleaned All Of His Major Wounds,I'm Afraid One Of Them Has Left The Poor Thing Blind,But He's Ready To Be Moved In Now." Sollux looked over his shoulder. "Ok,briing hiim iin." Kanaya walked into a separate room,soon came The Summoner and Signless carrying in another poor soul they'd saved today.

Lowering it into Eridan's tank they let him slowly sink to the bottom. "He Should Be Asleep For A While,Poor Thing Fought With Everything He Could." Kanaya looked down on the mertroll with pity. His tail was a light green color,and his fins tattered and ripped.
Dark midnight hair curtained the scars on his eyes,his horns shaped like hooks.

Eridan stared at the mertroll sleeping heavily in the sand. His eyes slowly fluttered open,he sat up removing the hair from his eyes.
"Wh∆ are y∆u,what d∆ y∆u want?"
Eridan's light headed state had worn off by now.
"I could ask you the same question."
"WWhat's your name?" "Tythas,Tythas Phyran."
Eridan held out his hand.
"Nice to meet you,but aren't you blind?"
"I can sense y∆ur m∆vment." Eridan pulled his hand back nervously. "Oh,wwell that's interesting." "Indeed." An awkward silence overtook the two until Tythas swam out of sight. "WWhere are you goin?" Tythas looked back at him. "S∆mewhere I can take a nap with∆ut s∆me∆ne staring at me like a creep." Well he's just a little ball of sunshine,isn't he?

"Hey ED,how2 iit goiing wiith the new guy?" Eridan jumped at the sound of Sollux's voice. He spun around looking at Sollux. "Oh,um..............good?" "Really?" Sollux said in disbelief. "He's kinda antisocial."
"ED he'2 bliind,not much two be happy about riight now." "True." "And bo22 2aiid we need a biit of extra money 2o me and AA were thiinkiing you and FF could be apart of the dolphiin performance tomorrow?"
Eridan's eyes lit up with joy,he looked like a kid on Christmas day. "YES!" He practically screamed. "Ok,well AA 2aiid 2he2 got everythiing planed out,2he al2o 2aiid that your routiine wiill be 2iimple,a few diive2 here and there ii2 all." Eridan nodded frantically. Sollux left to tell Aradia the good news.

"Y∆u sh∆uld tell him h∆w y∆u feel,b∆ttling up all y∆ur em∆ti∆ns like that isn't healthy." Eridan shrieked turning around to see Tythas's head poking out from behind some coral. "Oh? WWho's the creep noww?"
"Still y∆u." Eridan stuck his tongue out at him.
"Tell him,t∆m∆rr∆w is the best time t∆ d∆ it."
"WWhy should I take advvice from you?" "Cause I've been thr∆ugh this bef∆re!" He raised his tone. He swam up in Eridan's face grabbing him roughly by the arm.

"T∆m∆rr∆w,y∆u take that man by the shirt and y∆u kiss him until he can't f*cking breath,g∆t it!"

Eridan backed up nodding his head in fear. He had no idea what Tythas was capable of,but he wasn't going to take any chances.
