Chapter 16 Cronus

Sollux hid behind Eridan's tank,a giant heavy bucket full of ice water in his hands whilst Eridan held another bucket full of half eaten rotten fish. "Oh my god thii2 ii2 gonna be f*ckiing fanta2tiic!" He whispered. "I knoww!" Eridan said in a enthusiastic tone."why me?" Tythas groaned. "Je2u2 he2 gonna be 2o pii22ed!" Eridan spotted Karkat coming their way. "Shhhhhh!" Eridan shushed him readying the bucket.
Our poor unsuspecting crab walked right underneath the bucket. God help us. "NOW!" Sollux screamed popping out from behind the tank and splashing the short ball of anger with the bitterly cold liquid,and on top of that Eridan dumped the entire bucket of fish right onto to his head. Sollux slipped trying to run away unable to contain his laughter,I think Eridan stopped breathing for five seconds just trying to strangle out a laugh. "SOLLUX F*CKING CAPTOR YOU SON OF A WHORE!!!!! YOUR A DEAD MOTHERF*CKER!!!

Ah shiz,you set'em off. Sollux got up trying to run only for Karkat to catch him by the collar of his white coat.

"GOD SO HELP ME IM GOING TO CHOP YOUR BALLS OFF AND FEED THEM TO A DOLPHIN!!!!" "Je2u2 f*ck ED 2ave me!!" Eridan leaned on the side of his tank admiring his nails. "Nuh-uh hun,it wwas your idea and I vvalue my nails." Kanaya burst through the doors (damnit Kanaya you ruined it we were about to watch Karkat beat the shiz outta Sollux!) "Sollux Stop Lollygagging! We Have More Injured-*chokes* *gags* Karkat *hacks* Please For The Love Of God Go Take A Shower!" Karkat growled letting go of Sollux giving him a chance to escape the angry cancer. He ran down the hall into the room crowded with staff attending the injured sea creature. Pushing past several people he was met with another mertroll lying on the operation table,a pool of rich purple puddling underneath them. Thoughts raced around in his head. 'Why doe2 he look liike ED?' 'Where diid they fiind hiim?' 'Who ii2 he?' 'What2 hii2 name?' He looked over on the other table to see one who was much bigger and bleeding in more places than one. All he could do was stop an stare at them. "2ollux your goiing to have to leave whiile we do he operatiion." Sollux looked at his father. "On one condiitiion." Psi cocked an eyebrow.
"II want two 2peak two them riight after they wake up,deal?" He was confused but complied. Sollux left with many questions,and the first thing he'd need to do is find out how he was going to do this.

Sollux struggled trying to get the younger one to talk. "Come on,II know you can talk." He hissed at him turning away. "Don't te2t my patiient2." The mertroll growled at him flaring his earfins as a warning. "Hmph,fiine." He got up grabbing the door handle. "Y'know,II'm pretty 2ure Eriidan would have been glad two 2ee you." That single word brought the attention of the violet blood. "Vwhat?" Sollux stopped halfway through the door turning back to look at him,that same proud cocky smirk planted on his lips. "Oh? 2o you can talk." "Vwhats did you just say?" Sollux crossed his arms leaning against the door causing it to shut. "Oh,nothiing ju2t figured you'd want to know about one of the other mertroll2 we have here,hii2 name2 Eriidan." He snarled. "Howv dare you,you took my baby brother,HE VWAS ONLY ONE SVWEEP OLD!" "WE DIIDNT TAKE HIIM! WE RE2CUED HIIM! IIF WE HADNT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD OR WOR2E!" He scooted back now. "Vwhere is he,tell me nowv." This wasn't a threat this was a demand. "Only iif you tell me your name." He crossed his arms once again. "Cronus." He answered roughly. "Hm,well Cronu2 iif you want two 2ee your brother 2o bad then iit2 goiing to iinvolve contact wiith other human2 ju2t to get you iinto hii2 tank." "Fine." Cronus growled under his breath. "Good."

The Summoner,Signless,and Psionic carried him dropping him down into the water of the tank. Eridan awoke from his peacfull slumber,looking around he heard someone calling out his name and he could have sworn it was his own brother. "Eridan? Eridan!? Vwhere are you?!" He swam around frantically pausing when he saw Cronus only a few feet away from him. "C-Cro......oh my cod." He didn't know whether to cry or hug him. "That's-That's not really you is it?" Cronus was crying at this point,rich purple tears dissapearing into the water. "Chief...." His voice shook,lips quivering. In seconds the two were suffocating each other in an embrace. Both laughing nervously,big smiles on their faces and tears briming their eyes. "I thought I'd nevver see you again." "And I thought you vwere dead!" "Nah! Can't get rid of me that easily!" The two laughed. "Vwait!" "Wwhat?" "Dad,vwheres dad?" "I thought dad wwas killed,don't you remember wwhen wwe wwere little,that harpoon it-." "No,no he surwviwved!"
"HE WWHAT?!" "Hey? Anywvone?!" Cronus yelled for one of the staff. "Hold on." Eridan popped out of the water leaning on the side of his tank. "Sooooooool~." Sollux came running in. "Ye2 my queen bee~?" Eridan put on one of his cutest smiles. "I need a favvor." He motione for Sollux to come up. He did so comin close enough for Eridan to give him a loving kiss in which he returned. "Are you happy?" "Vvery,but wwas there another?" Sollux thought about the older mertroll. "Yeah,one,let me gue22 your all three related." "He's my dad." "Where2 your mom? IIf you don't miind me a2kiing." Eridan thought how he was supposed to explain this. "Wwell,my dad wwas close friends wwith a jade blood,it has to do wwith our reproduction I'm sure you understand." Sollux looked dumbfounded. "2oooooo you don't have a mom?" "Nope. The closest I evver got to havvin' a mother wwas wwhen the jade blood took care of me,I called her Rosa for short." (I'll further explain the Dolorosa's story later,trust me on this.)
