Chapter 22 Patching Up The Bleeding Heart

Sollux walked briskly through the doors of the aquarium,the world around him flew by like a blur of colours. "Morning Sollux." Kanaya waved,Sollux stopping abruptly. "Morniin' KN,II need a favor of you." "What Can I Do For You?" "II2 there any way you could get me a moment alone wiith ED?" Kanaya smirked,her eyes softening. "I'm Sure I Could." "Thank2,KN you're the be2t." He hugged her,swiftly walking off the tail of his white lab coat flying behind him.
Kanaya smiled scheduling down repairs for Eridan's tank.

Eridan groaned,being lifted out of his tank was not only uncomfortable but terrifying. The air wasn't exactly his territory,infact it belonged to those pesky seagulls he feared as a child. "Do must you repair it today,Kar? I knoww you'd much rather do other things." "YES I MUST YOUR HIGHNESS,ALSO KANAYA MOVED YOUR MONTHLY CHECK UP TO TODAY SO YOU DONT HAVE A CHOICE." Karkat gave a smug smile. Eridan stuck his tongue out in protest. A monthly check up and tank repairs meant a few hours in a tub in what Eridan commonly refered to as 'Claustrophobic Hell' wich was really just the tub small in the medical office. The tub was used for hydration for animals that had recently gone under surgery.

Eridan was gently laid in the tub. As much as he despised it the water was nice,dismissing all the bad memories was an issue he'd delt with one time too many except it kept coming back to him. The sounds of shattering glass and rushing water,he felt the memory of shards poke at his skin and silent screaming,he felt something feirce jab at his tail right where his scar remained from that fateful night of horrors snapping him back to reality. He gripped his tail trying to calm his labored breathing. Normally the thought to take a nap was his one resort when he'd still been in his tank but the last thing he needed was nightmares.
His attention was taken away to the sound of someone opening and closing the door. Looking up he was faced with someone he longed to see just within the one day they'd dissapeared. "Mii22 me?" Feelings unconcealable were unleashed and in a mere second Eridan wrapped his arms around the human pulling him down into the water with him completely drenching his atire. "Wwait-" Suddenly rage filled his entire being,shoving Sollux into the side of the tub. "Agh! F*ck!" A thudding noise emenating as his shoulder and the back of his head collided with the tub. Eridan scooted away hugging himself. "Don't think just because you turn up outta no wwhere that I'll forgivve you for wwhat you did!" "Well-ugh...II'm 2orry but you diidn't have to try and giive me a concu22iion!" He snapped back. Eridan huffed. "Wwell if you'd just kept quiet or at least told me,Fef wwouldnt havve been forced into this mess!" "Can ju2t 2top blamiing me already?! Thii2 wa2 gonna happen eiither way,or diid you thiink you could actually go through wiith marryiing FF?" "It's called a matespritship ya' dumb*ss!" If our relationship is just some petty and useless mistake,then wwhy are you here,bee-f*ucker." Sollux's face coloured a red hue with rage,his hands gripping at the floor for stability and his right eye twitched uncontrollably. "Grrrr!" "Throww a temper tantrum all you wwant Sol,I'm not impressed wwith these childish actions of yours anywways." Eridan turned away from the blood boiling inraged human. Sollux froze taking a deep breath,his face turning back to his normal pale complexion. "Lii2ten,II came here to apologiize for what II diid,not fiight wiith you." Eridan hesitantly turned to look back at him,his eyes filled with hope for their matespritship.

"What II diid wa2 uncalled for,II 2hould have 2aiid 2omethiing two you. II'm 2o 2orry." His voice held sincerity and his expression held a soft gaze creating a fervent atmosphere around them. Eridan felt the searing heat rise to his cheeks,reaching out to Sollux he grabbed the back of his head gripping his light blond hair. Their lips met into flaming and passionate kiss when Sollux smelt the strangest scent on his mate. It was almost like fruit,no doubt in his mind it was Feferi.  He pulled Eridan close to study it further when he was pulled down into the tub,water soaking his entire being showing his slightly toned chest.

Sollux sat up pulling away to look at his soaked atire. "Diid you really have to-mff!" Eridan was quick to shut him up leaning them back where Sollux was hovering over him. "S-sorry Sol..but...I-I am afraid it's been heh too long since we've *huff* been this close." Eridan's face was a vibrant amethyst shade as he breathed vigorously,his words shook with anticipation. Hearing these words coming from Eridan's sweet lips however made Sollux flare up,his face redder than Terezi's glasses. Sollux kissed him amorously,soon leaving a trail of butterfly kisses down his jaw line,biting and sucking on the lustfully blinded mertroll's collar bone. Eridan tugged at the water drenched white coat covering his mates body,eventually getting rid of it and Sol's shirt revealing his slightly muscular chest. Lets just say having to chasing down and wrestling Gamzee over the past few years since they found him paid off. Sollux sat on top of Eridan,knees on either side of his tail as it moved erratically with anticipation,desperate to curl itself around Sollux.
As more ardent kisses were shared,Sollux pulled away and began to suck and bite at Eridan's neck again soon reaching a hand down knowing fairly well where his hand was going. Caressing the soft skin around Eridan's pelvic area. Eridan mewled like a small kitten,immediately reacting to the feather-like touch and slapped a hand over his own mouth to drown out his moans. Sollux smirked into the crook of Eridan's neck,the sound of his darling little angel fish squirm under his grasp was just so satisfying. Moving his hand underneath the sheath of Eridan's tail he felt the writhing tentabulge rub up against his hand for warmth,he grasped it gently rubbing it,Eridan's claws digging into his back. "Hmph~" Sollux grinned looking over Eridan as he moved his hand further down to feel the slit of Eridan's soft nook. He rubbed it slowly with his index finger drawing a sharp gasp from Eridan's lips,his mouth was slightly agape a steady line of drool falling down his chin. Spreading the folds of Eridan's nook he rubbed the sides with two fingers. "Ah~!" Eridan moaned as Sollux inserted a finger into his tight nook,moving it in and out slowly and as painfully as possible,earning an aggravated grunt from the mertroll. "S-Sollux you bastard,movve fas-hah~!!" Eridan arched his spine throwing his head back in ecstacy,tears brimmed his eyes clouded with passion as  Sollux shoved a second finger into his twitching nook,dripping with his violet juices. Pumping his fingers in and out until Eridan was almost at his climax. He pulled his fingers out and licked them clean of the royal purple genetic material. "Hm,II gue22 that'2 all for today con2iideriing you haven't done thii2 before." Eridan growled under his breath,his hair shadowing his eyes seeing as it had lost its shape in the midst of their little make out session. Sollux moved to stand up when something wrapped itself around his waist tightly. "You're not goin' anywwhere Sol,I'm not done wwith you yet~" Eridan pulled him down into the water once again coiling his tail around his right leg and rubbing his thigh. Palming him through his jeans,an obvious tent had grown in between his legs. "Oh? Noww wwhat is this?" Sollux gulped as he tried to keep himself from thrusting his hips into Eridan's hand. Eridan slid off his jeans revealing his bee boxers which had been slightly pulled down giving Eridan the advantage to stroke him. "A-Arent you goiing to 2uck me off or 2omethiing?" Eridan looked up at him to see a sincerely worried look on his face. "Oh,Sol." Eridan reached up to capture his lips in a kiss. Pulling away he looked him in the eyes. "I lovve you,I alwways havve and there's no one wwho could make me feel any different or lovve you any less than I already do."
