Explaining why his gills were flaring and cheeks were a purple hue were harder than he'd initially thought. Eridan sat at the bottom of his tank, his ear fins turning royal purple down to the membrane while he nervously nibbled at his index finger. The skin lightly grazing his shark like teeth.
"-ERIDAN?" Feferi spoke from behind him. Her voice sent shivers through his body, he winced as his teeth accidentally broke the flesh of his index finger. "O-Oh, fef." He studdered, avoiding eye contact with her as if she could read his thoughts. She seemed to speak in a lower town as her gaze fell towards the ground. "Look, I'm R-EELY sorry about w)(at I did -Earli-Er." Her cheeks colouring deep fushia while she spoke ever so quietly, obviously feeling ashamed for such lewd acts. "It's fine fef, really." A violet spot on Eridan's neck right under his left gills caught her eye. "Did I do t)(at?" "Hm?" He hadn't seemed to acknowledge it until now. "Wwhat?" Feferi swam up placing the tip of her fingers over the spot that stood out upon his grey completion. He winced at her touch as she inspected it. "It looks lik-E a bruis-E, mayb-E?" Eridan immediately flushed a deep violet, covering it with the palm of his hand. "W)(OOPS, SORRY!" She blushed, her voice going back to its regular preppy and giggly self. Eridan just chuckled. Cronus swam up, taking a seat next to Eridan his eyes immediatly caught sight of purple mark. "VWowv chief, she already gettin' possessivwe?" Eridan's happy expression was quickly consumed with anger, scowling and glaring down his brother. "Wwhats that supposed to mean?" He spat. "Vwowv, don't bite my head off chief, and I vwas referring to the obvwious little mark there on your neck." Worry overtook his features. "Is it really that noticable?" Eridan covered the mark once again. "Vwell at least dad'll be proud a ya'!" "Shut up Cro!" He scolded Cronus, his thoughts distracted to the embarrassing mark left behind from his...ahem, 'earlier activities'. Feferi laughed. "So kitten," Cronus looked at Feferi. "Howv far did ya' get?" "CRO!" Feferi smirked.
"W-ELL W-E ALMOST-" Eridan stared at her dead in the eyes. "Fef if you say one more wword I swwear." "AWWW W)(AT DO YOU SW-EAR?" Feferi gave him a lustful look rendering him to blush profusely. "Ya' chief, if she says too much you'll havwe to punish 'er." Cronus nudged him with his elbow.
"O)(? A PUNIS)(M-ENT?" Feferi slid close placing herself in his lap whilste wrapping her arms around his neck. Cronus couldn't help but giggle with a shit eating grin. "Please stop talking, both of you." Eridan pleaded, almost a threat, a look on unamusement on his face. "W)(AT SORT OF PUNIS)(M-ENT WILL YOU GIV-E M-E, )(U)( -ERIFIS)(?" Cronus leaned in to his shoulder. "Ya' Eridan, tell us vwhat ya' gonna to ta' her." A look of guilt and regret were his only expressions. "Oh my god fef no." Feferi moved close to his earfin, her hot breath on his gills causing them to flare and a blush to bloom on his cheeks. "Ar-E you gonna spank m-E?" She whispered, gently biting his earfin. "YOU GUYS STOP TEASING HIM!" Karkat scolded. Cronus clenched his mouth shut to keep from bursting into laughter. "Nope nope nope, just all the nope!" Eridan pushed Feferi off his lap and swam off. "AWWW BUT AR-ENT YOU GONNA PUNIS)( M-E?" Feferi shouted at the mess of a troll, her teasing torment never ending. Cronus chuckled under his breath. "He vwill later vwhen no ones around." Smirking innapropriately, he sat back enjoying the soft current of the water.

Sollux circled the tank until he found Eridan sulking behind a coral rock. He stared at the sand, hugging his tail to his chest he hid his mouth. "Hey babe, what2 up?" His concentration on the small grains of sand were broken by the sudden lisp of Sollux's voice. "Hey sol." He smiled lovingly at him. "II mii22ed you." Eridan grinned swimming up to the glass that kept them separated. "Me too, lovve." He put his hand up against the glass, Sollux met his had with his own. No matter how muh Sollux wanted to stay like this, gazing into each other's eyes like there was no tomorrow. The beautiful amthyst gems of Eridan's eyes intrigued his curiousity, edging him on. Dare he look away, his fears of loosing what he held closest to his heart scratched at the back of his mind. Eridan loved those mixmatched eyes of Sol's. To say he'd seen something more beautiful, or believe that there were something more precious, would be a sinful lie.

Though doubts stood in the way of the poor Aquarius' fanasty of a perfect world. "He'2 gonna fiind out." Eridan refused to hear those awful words. "Shush, no he wwont lovve." Sollux furrowed his brow at his mates denial. "Look, ED, iin a perfect world II'd agree wiith you...but iin a perfect world you'd be 2afe iin my arm2 iin2tead of that wiitche2-" As that last word was spoke with deadly venom, Sollux found himself at a loss for words. A fear of his fragile mind to be evenoe corrupted than he believed, stopped him, ceasing his anger from ever letting it take control of him. "Sollux, don't talk about her that wway." Sollux let out a stressful sigh, closing his eyes he rubbed them under the lenses. "II know, II know but II ju2t don't liike her rubbing her liittle fiinger2 all over my man!" Eridan laughed, his smile warming Sollux to the core. "Sol, she's just messin' wwith me." Sollux looked at him, narrowing his eyes. "2o you don't really have any feeliing2 for her?" "No my swweet." "And you don't wanna 2pank her?" Eridan's eyes snapped wide open peircing into the gemini's soul, a blush darker than his own blood struck his cheeks, his gills flared open as he gripped handfuls of sand in frustration. "COD DAMNIT SOLLUX!!!" He spat. Sollux burst into laughter. "II'm ju2t kiidiing babe, II know you'd rather 2pank me~" Sollux narrow his eyes wiggling his eyebrows. "Sooooool." Sollux chuckled. "II'm 2orry, II'm tauntiing you agaiin." "I swwear to cod I'm gonna send Kar loose on you wwhen I get the chance." Eridan threatened playfully. Sollux dismissed his annoyed matesprit grabbing a ladder he propped it on the side of the tank. Climbing it Eridan swam up meeting him at the surface. Without a word the mertroll grabbed Sollux's face snogging him in a kiss. Sollux melted extending his hands to caress Eridan's cheek, his fingers wandering from the soft skin to his mates earfins. Eridan purred in delight as Sollux's other hand reached to his pushing the closer together. Sollux couldn't help but notice his uncovered and vulnerable gills, pulling away he moved down to Eridan's neck to get a mouthful of his gills. Eridan let out a shaky moan feeling his mates tongue gently lap over his exposed gills, the feathered part of his gills wet with saliva. His gills flared, showing his erotic behavior, his tail thrashed at a medium pace in the water. Sollux moaned, his mouth vibrating against Eridan's gills in the process. Without warning his fingers brushed against Eridan's dorsal fin, suddenly the most adorable, delicious, excited, and high pitched whistles and trills emenate from Eridan. The sounds without a doubt surprised Sollux. Pulling away from Eridan's gills he was greeted with a very hot and bothered Eridan. "Woah, what wa2 that?" Eridan breathed heavily letting out a few breathy laughs. "S-Sorry, I...I got a bit...excited." He replied between breaths. Sollux smirked. "Here ii2 not the place but...we can hopefully piick back up on thii2 later?" Eridan nodded his head. "Definitely."
