Chapter 13 The kiss

Eridan waited with anticipation,humming a happy tune he swam in circles in his tank.
He smiled widely,flashing his pearly shark like teeth. Tythas on the other hand,was shocked. 'H∆w can s∆me∆ne be s∆ happy?' He dismissed it knowing that Eridan's happy mood would soon wear off into boredom. "Tythas! Wwhat if he doesn't like me back?" Nope. Apparently he was wrong,now he's paranoid. Great. Eridan's eyes shot open,in a flash he was at the front of the tank hands pressed against the glass. "Woah,2low down there,happy?" "Yes!" Sollux smiled and got a ladder,standing it up he leaned down lifting Eridan out of the water. Eridan,who was surprisingly light,was blushing up a storm. Sollux's hands were warm and he didnt want to leave his arms. Sadly,Sollux had to place him into a wagon that they used to transport both Feferi and Eridan when they were little.

Sollux could never admit it,but Eridan was the cutest little thing when he first arrived at the aquarium. He remembered the day he arrived,both of them were only a few years old and Simon or Psionics took him to work with him. He remembered seeing Signless holding Eridan who was clinging to him in his slumber,poor Eridan looked traumatized.
He thought of all this was going to the dolphins quarters.
He looked down at Eridan who looked happier than a kid on Christmas day. He picked him up and dropped him down into the water. Eridan swam over to Feferi who was just sitting there head above water. "Hey Fef!" He pounced on her,the two splashing each other and exchanging greetings.

"Hey Fef,I'm gonna confess to Sol!"

He whisper yelled. Feferi stiffened,she almost looked angry yet a bit of sadness was there as well. She hugged him. "T)(ATS GR-EAT -ERIFIN." He hugged back,pulling away when he heard Aradia on the megaphone. "Alright,every0ne ready?" The little ones cheered happily,screaming 'YES!' and squealing at the top of their lungs.

The mertroll did a few flips and dived back down into the water,splashing it everywhere.

After the show,Eridan went over to the side to meet Sollux who was laying down on his stomache by the pool. "So did you like the showw?" "Yeah,you two diid really good out there." Sollux smiled as silence consumed the two. Eridan looked up at him,seriousness being his only expression. Sollux's smiled faded. "Sol,there's something I'vve been needin' to tell you." "Okay,2hoot." Sollux's face heated slightly,a small blush barely visible on his cheeks. Eridan gripped the collar of his shirt. "Hey what are yo-MMF!" Eridan smashed his lips against his.

Eridan was in heaven, Sollux tasted of honey. Eridan deepened the kiss,wrapping both arms around Sol's neck. By now Sollux had melted into the kiss,placing both hands on the side of Eridan's face. Eridan came to his senses and remembered that humans didn't have gills. It's a shame,he wanted this to last forever. He pulled away and five underneath the surface of the water, leaving Sollux to sit alone dumfounded and gasping for air.
"What the hell,ED?" He looked over the water searching for the mertroll. "ED,ED plea2e come back." He said,voice full of worry. He sat back and sighed. "Damniit."
