I forgot what day it is in the story...so I'm making yesterday a Tuesday, two weeks after Tobias was found kissing Lauren.

I wake up in the morning, slightly regretting the fact that I didn't go. I change into a flowy white and grey stripped crop top, ripped shorts with a brown belt, a long gold chain around my neck with a triangle on the end, and a blue plaid mid-arm length shirt. Going through my daily morning routine, I can't stop thinking about his text. Regret for not going but pride because I stayed home and showed him I don't need him. On my way to school, I get a text from Christina. I park my car and look at what it says.

Hey, come to the cafeteria, I have something to tell you.- C

I get out and lock my car. Right as I walk into the cafeteria, I see Four standing on one of the tables with a single flower in his hand. All of a sudden, he starts to talk loud enough for the whole cafeteria to hear.

"Tris Prior. When you started to shun me and completely shut me out, I had no idea why. I kept trying to contact you in any way I could, but you refused to talk." He starts. I just give him a questioning look, as if deciphering whether or not to leave or slap him.

"I started to ask around to see if anyone knew what really happened." He jumps of the table and comes right in front of me. He quietly talks now. " I found out that Lauren drugged me. I know that you won't believe me now, but I sent a police report and an investigation is happening. I can prove to you that it wasn't me. We can just be friends or something but I feel something between us." He pleads with me.

I look at my feet. Should I let him in again? He seems apologetic but you never know with more popular guys. I nod, only slightly. "But stay away from me for a while. I will come to you when I'm ready. I need space."

I turn and walk away, leaving him alone in the crowd of high schoolers. A rose dangling from his side.
