♥10♥ Class 2-7 School play

Shiraishi, Kenya, and Chitose missed seeing their cute little red haired kouhai. It has been a week since she stopped coming to the tennis club. It's not that she has chose to neglect her duties as the manager for the team, she and Zaizen has a school play and they needed a whole week to prepare for such a thing. Why do they need to prepare for it? Because they have got the main roles for it.

Zaizen and Chinami already told the club members to not bother to watch it but they still came to watch it anyway. The others will be teasing them about it for sure!

"Crap, they have front row seat for it..." Zaizen peeked at the audience from behind the curtains and he was a little annoyed at the fact many people will be there to see him. Zaizen will be playing the role of the prince for the school play. He didn't want a speaking role but since it was allocated randomly, it cannot be helped. "I told my family not to come and they still came..."

"Hikaru, can you help me?" Zaizen turned to look at Chinami in ragged looking clothes.

"Hey there, Cinderella." He took the head cloth from her and started to help her tie it on properly. He was originally going to reject the role of the prince but after finding out Chinami will play the role of the play's heroine, he decided to take on the role.

"I'm a bit nervous..." Chinami and nervous doesn't really go together. It made Zaizen laugh a little that she would say that.

"Don't be. It will be over before you know it."

"Are your parents here to watch you?"

"My brother, sister-in-law, and my little nephew is here too." He guide her to the little bit of the open curtain and pointed at where they were, "See them?"

"Your nephew is so cute!"

"Where's your Dad? I don't see him anywhere." He and the others were told by Shiraishi already that she doesn't have a Mom. It was to save everyone from awkwardness...

"Dad is still on the business trip."

"I thought you said he's coming to watch you?"

"He was but he got called back."

Zaizen has never felt lonely before because his parents were always home, waiting for him and to greet him with a warm 'welcome home'. He heard from Chitose that she's often home alone and needed to do everything by herself. He doesn't know the meaning of loneliness but he does know that knowing she's alone most of the time bothered him greatly.

"When this is over, I'll introduce you to my nephew."

"Really? Can I hold him too? I love babies..."

"If it's you, it's fine." If he can get rid of that loneliness a little bit, it was worth it.

The tennis club regulars got front row seat to watch the play. They wouldn't pass on the opportunity to tease them about it.

"I heard Nee-chan is going to be Cinderella. Ooh, I hope she kills some robots!" Kintarou excitedly pumped his fists in excitement, "Nee-chan will kick ass!"

"Where did you get robots from in Cinderella?" Kenya asked, "I wonder what Zaizen is..."

"Zaizen-kun is the prince!" Koharu and Yuuji happily announced.

"What?!" Shiraishi and Kenya didn't know!

"Wait, hasn't he turn down an important role in last year's school play? Why is he taking on an important role now?!" Kenya exclaimed, clearly showing the fact he was annoyed.

"Can it be...because Chinami is Cinderella?!" Shiraishi's words were followed up by dimming lights; the play was starting...

The moment the curtains were up, the light focused on Chinami. Instead of saying her first line, she said something completely different.
